Your carbs have a slow, med and high range jets.
To get them really clean you need to pull them and clean them.
They aren't that hard to clean if you do one at a time so you don't get the parts confused and get everything put back where it is supposed to be.
Also don't split the carbs unless you have to.

Ha my bike is 25 years old and almost 50 thousand miles on it.
I barley remember when it only has 20 on it.

Make sure the last time the tire was mounted that all spacers were installed correctly.
I have all shaft driven bikes and the only reasons that the tire would rub is wrong size tire or assembles incorrectly.

Check to see if there is a vacuum line not connected or if a fuel line may have gotten pinched when you put the tank on.

I have a pair of the Cortech riding pants that look like jeans but much thicker they, have armor and leather in the the knee area and leather in the butt area on the inside for extra protecction.
I like them very much for around town ridding.

It is called PMS or parked motorcycle syndrom, we all get in in the middle of winter when we can't get out and ride.
