Sorry, I put one too many "s". It is Zos. Supposedly this is what the Chinese use. It came with some cheaper rings and a big sunshade along with lens caps. I just bought a Zoss off of Ebay. It's a 10-40x60. I've only just sighted it in to 100 yards, and seems to be working fairly well. I'm not a big hunter, but my 22LR wasn't killing the groundhogs out to where I was shooting them. I think i paid $179. Some say they are cheap scopes. I just wanted to try it out on my 22-250 to see for myself.

I know you're looking for a sport bike, but I've got a BMW K1100LT that will be as much fun as a sport bike in the twisties and be comfortable for the long haul. I've done many twisties and have done quite a few 1,000+ days. Its a K1100LT. Not too many of them around this area but they are pretty much bulletproof. I've got over 60,000 trouble free miles. If anyone is interested PM me. The price is cheaper than a sport bike.

I've road that road a couple times. It's not too far away. I feel real bad about the death. The guy that was leading hopefully feels bad. Thats why I hate riding in bigger groups and not knowing how each person rides. Sometimes a helmet can't even save you.

I've got a Hobart Handler 150. It uses flux from the factory but comes with the mig conversion. I did it right away. Go to a gas distributor and buy a tank (big or small). I got the big because we do a lot of welding. Make sure you switch the wires in the welder for mig welding. Nice thing about the Handler it runs off 115V so you can take it anywhere and use it. It will weld 1/4" easy and I've already welded 3/8 rod to 5/8 rod. It's not the hottest but will do the job, unless you want to weld 5/8" consistently. I got mine at Rural King. Not sure if you have one down there. TSC also sells them or you can get them online. I think it was around $460 just for the welder. Then somewhere close to 200 to buy a tank. Get an auto-darkening mask. I use harbor freights and it works dang good for 50 bucks. And some good gloves. an apron is quite nice also to keep your nuts in tack.

okay im not a fan of extremely high speeds but can't stand going the speed limit. I like how they bring up the 14% of accidents are related to high speeds. What about the other 60 some other thousand accidents. If they make us retake a drivers course, what about the older people in cars. A 70 year old lady pulled out in front of my friend after looking both ways at a stop sign and killed him instantly (only going 45). Did she get say 8 points on her license and have to retake her drivers course? The officials don't want motorcycles and they will do everyhing to keep us off them. I would like to see how many of those 14% were motorcycles. Way more get in wrecks going below the speed limit and the accident not being their fault. Do they ever do a write up on that? As long as I've got tailights in front of me they will never catch me.

I don't know what your idea of thill and think is but there will be a lot of people at Deal's Gap. If that is your idea of it go there then. If you want to get away from people like me go do the pennsylvania new york thing. That will be very peaceful. If your going to Deal's Gapa for sure take a day and a half or two and take back roads down. not 71.

WV is very nice and seclusive. go that way to the Smokies. Anything but the interstate is a nice road. I spent a day in WV and hit quite a few of there roads. Some pretty nice views on their big hills.

only way to really know if it will go that fast is to try it. My bet is you will stop at around 180 beacause all it takes is a pebble and you could be in serious trouble. My guess is you will have to be going somewhere in the ballpark of 220 - 230 to be clocked at 200, if not more. My speedo is off 10 mph at gps indicated 80.

If you want to go fast, I would recommend a Valentine 1. It will pay itself off fast. I've got one but still keep the speed to a resonable amount. It can pick radar up before all the other detectors.

I agree. some bikes just won't lean over as far as some, either depending on footpeg placement or centerstands. My KLT will use the whole rear tire but still have a lot of lean left in the front. Fireman_343 were those pictures from a track day race? thats some serious adrenaline rush there. Makes me still want a sport bike. But i think a dual sport suzuki dl650 is in my next plans. And from riding my brothers they don't lean too bad either. they just came out with abs too!

If I sold my 1100 id be there with cash. But I limit myself to two bikes so i gotta get rid of the old one first. I better advertise it fast so I can get it.
