  1. Is it a 03 or 04? I seen it in the photos and it said 03. I'll trade you my 1995 bmw k1100lt and $1400.
  2. yeah I did forget about the rpm difference.
  3. Is it the cheaper one without the lips to hold the wheel in correctly like this one before they welded round stock on it? http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26637 or does it have lips to hold the wheel? I'll give you $50
  4. What kind of tire changer and can you post pictures of it? I'd be interested.
  5. I could never see myself changing oil every 3,000 miles. My bike is a little different though, having a dry clutch. Im running Amsoil 20W 50 In the engine with an Amsoil EOM filter. With Redline Shockproof Heavy Duty in the transmission and final drive. Change everything at 12,000.
  6. I think I would replace the tire and if that doesn't work look into your suspension. I was reading about the new z1000 and they were saying there suspension wasn't all that great on the older ones. Supposed to be fixing it on the newer models.
  7. just don't get caught. I think it is a hefty fine in state forests if i remember right.
  8. If you like twitsties go south. Pic just about any road its 55 mph but i would rather go through a road faster with less cars than go on a 15 mph twisty road. There's something about more speed in curves that makes the adrenaline flow. Was on dragon two weeks ago and didn't really get any blood flowing too many cars. I was actually looking for the Cherohala Skyline but I missed the road somehow. Dragon = Cops now a days. Neil
  9. First post here don't be rude as most of you have speed demon bikes, and me with my bmw. I like to ride the twisties just as much. I kind of think it is more fun taking a bigger bike through them. 555, 60, 800, and 78 have to be some of the most fun roads. Friday morning im heading down 250 into W. Virginia and i'll see what that has to offer. Going down to N Carolina to meet up with some other people and hopefully ride the Dragon Sunday and a couple other roads I heard that have to be ridden. Pretty much any road below Zanesville is a nice road.
