You got something against homosexual cats??
Nope, do you?
-
Did your cats ever have sex on the couch?
Doubtful, they're both boys.
-
turn that center cushion the right way. whoever takes this couch may find a comb, some skittles, honey nut cheerios, like $1.78 in change, and a remote under the cushions. good deal.
Your best bet will be a free cat toy hidden in the couch. Enjoy.

free is not a sale....
True, but I will take what I can get.

I just bought a new reclining couch, so I need to move this other couch out of here ASAP. Use it for a bonfire, I don't care, it's FREE!

I'd worry about kids getting ahold of it by a clumsy teacher.
This would definitely happen. I know from my experience, you can't even trust teachers to treat laptops properly, let alone a gun. The argument against this is that schools don't have any REAL defense against a shooter other than a lockdown. Basically, you're a sitting duck praying the shooter won't come in your classroom. It's a tough call with no clear solution.

I think it's hilarious that people fall for that crap when clearly the scammer has no clue how to speak English.

Ever seen the King of Queens episode where Doug buys the Grand Cherokee (or whatever it was), and Carrie tries to take it back?
LOL, that's a good episode as is the one he brings home a motorcycle. That one is hilarious!

Yes Yota and 1000RRRider, I'm looking at Superhawks, Tuonos, and things things like that. The FZ1 is a little too upright for me. That's the tricky part is finding that happy medium.

While I do want a bigger bike for the sake of having a bigger bike, I also want a bike that's more comfortable for longer jaunts.
-
-
I am interested in your bike. I will also be able to pick it up today or tomorrow, your choice. $2000 CASH
Daaaamn, at least a CL dude offered me a commerical grade lawnmower with his $2000 cash.
A pawn's not going to give you anything for it because you're selling it to someone who doesn't want it. You need to reach more people. GLDid you even read the other posts? I'm not taking my bike to a pawn shop.

What Moose said.

You're doing his legwork for him.
You're his bitch.
What concern of it is yours how he gets the money. Tell him to bring you the money -- why are you doing his homework? C'mon teach...
Will you run errands and google search stuff for me too?
I want to sell my bike and honestly, I haven't gotten many bites. Clearly he is incompetent with searching the internet, which means he may also fail to look up KBB and/or NADA values. If this gets my bike sold, then the time was well spent my friend.
-
Well it's not me who needs it. As you know, I'm trying to sell my bike and I keep getting strange trade offers. One was a commercial grade 32" walk behind mower and another was a 3 carat diamond set. I was convinced the diamond set was a scam, so I told him to sell them and bring cash thinking it would call his bluff. Well, he responded saying he's willing to sell them and if I knew of a place, so here we are.

It has:
-a fender eliminator
-flush mount signals
-Puig Double Bubble windscreen
brand spanking new Pilot Power 2ct tires
tank protector
aftermarket grips (have a tear from trailering though)
brand new battery (we're talking only several days old)
Yoshimura stainless slip-on
frame sliders
custom seat (currently looks like a diner seat, but will be switched back to black with less padding if desired)
-integrated taillight
-custom paint (black with a purple pearl)
-lowered one inch, but the stand wasn't modified. It is an easy fix to raise it back up, but I don't have the stock dogbone.
I have most of the stock parts to give away with the bike. The bike has just under 11,000 miles at the time, but I'm still riding it. The bike did go down once in grass at a very low speed three years ago, but nothing major was damaged. A mirror and the brake pedal were replaced. I have had the oil changed regularly about every 2,000 miles. It has always been stored in a garage. Pictures were taken before the new tires were put on. I know there are a ton of bikes for sale, so I'm open to offers. I do have it priced high on CL at $5000 (expecting to get lower offers), but I'll sell it for $4700 to ORDN members. Thanks for looking!

Yeah that's definitely got me thinking about my garage now. Darn you!
-
I just posted my bike this week on CL and no luck for me so far.

Wow, looks like a big boost in business for you, Max.

I oppose the building of a mosque at ground zero... then again... I oppose the building of any more religious buildings anywhere, and think they all should be forced to pay property tax on the land they occupy.
I agree on both items. This is just another opportunity for us to be laughed at for the stupid things we do.

I replaced the battery, put it on a trickle charger, and still no luck. I topped off the fuel. I always use super and not the stuff from Flying J. It's not the fuel pump, because you hear it run for the fuel injection when you turn the key. I'm having new spark plugs put in as my next step.

As a teacher, it's a scary bill. The part that worries me is that merit pay will inevitably mean more standardized testing. First off, standardized tests already claim way too much time, since more and more we're having to teach to the test. As a special education teacher, it gets even trickier. Why are kids labeled with a cognitive disability taking the exact same test as their regular ed grade level peers? Hello? They read at LEAST two levels below grade level and they're expected to pass these already tricky tests? I'll never see a raise again! Personally, I'm sick of politicians pretending they have a clue what goes on in education and calling the shots. It's like me strolling into ER surgery and telling the doctor what he should do and how to do it. Just because I've been to the doctor, doesn't mean I now know everything about being a doctor. Same thing with education.
The bill really strikes me as a poorly thought out "all or nothing" deal. Tenure is something I think could/should be addressed. While I would love to have tenure, I do think that it makes people lazy. The bare minimum becomes good enough and, in that case, hurts everyone. Somebody like that is pulling in a big salary and definitely not earning it. Also, putting more money into STRS, not a bad thing, as long as it still exists when I retire. I'll be plenty pissed if, after years of putting money into STRS, it no longer exists when I need it most. Overall, I think a middle ground needs to be reached.
