Damn hahaha. Lots of slab, burnouts and wheelies?
No, tire had less than 1500 miles worth of hard riding. It's the Pirelli Super junk that came standard on the bike. We were doing some spirited riding between Austin (TX) and the Three Sisters in Kerville (TX). I'm being told that I was lucky to get that much, apparently they are known for going off sooner than that.

This hoopla about not posting rides on a piblic forum is nonsense. Yea I get it people have gotten tickets on rides. But I find it hard to believe cops have nothing better to do than peruse motorcycle forums to set up speed traps. Been posting rides and routes on this website and a few others for the last 5 or 6 years and never has it became a problem. Delusional paranoia in my opinion.
I disagree! Forum post have been used as evidence to prosecute. But yes, I have a bout of delusional paranoia. Or the realization of past experience. Hmm, think my self is talking to me again.

I was told there would be Euro OSU girls.
Should of been there earlier! Might of been some "looker's"!

Well, they generally only do that to folks that are breaking the law.
You could just go out for a pleasant fun and safe ride while obeying the law and not worry about it.
Or, failing that, at least not go out planning to break the law.
I'd rather ride my ride at a spirited pace then a Harley ducking in and out of bars drink after drink.
But to each there own.

I posted this for Columbus.

Tooth pain sucks! Hang in there. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy some beverages at a bike night soon!

Nice meeting some forum members! The vintage bikes on hand was phenomenal! BSA was my favorite.
-
Psst, don't post ride routes on public forums! Lessons learned from the past.

OhiO, lets meet at iron pony, kickstands up at 9.
I'm there!

A true Iron Butt on that machine! North Georgia mountains are my favorite! Did you hit GA-180, close to blood mountain? Hope you don't have flat spots on your tires from slabbing it.

I'll be there 6:30-7ish. Look me up, I'm on a Aprilia RSV wearing the Aprilia factory racing shirt. Coming from Powell if anyone wants to ride in.
-
I'm interested. Iron Pony works for me.
-
^No worries, use to be quite the collection of various bikes.

2nd place finish!

I've heard some reliability issues. Good luck, heard there was a euro bike night every couple weeks or so.

Trying to get back into the Moto scene. Rear tire replaced and I'm ready to get out and about. This forum use to represent at the Quaker Steak and Lube bike night. Do we still have a presence? Anyone want to join this Wednesaday?

My gen1 tuono's from texas, great brand support down there
Yes, purchased the bike directly from Houston Superbike. They set the suspension up perfectly. They are currently 1st in MotoAmerica Super Stock class!

And since I just looked this up the other day, I can tell you roughly 1/3 of the folks from the first year the site started that have over 100 posts have been active in the past six months.
That's great retention. Currently I'm running on a plugged tire. Any members around the Powell area have a tire change setup?

Left Ohio in 2008 for Texas. Not sure if anyone is still around from back then? Moved up to a RSV. Let me know if anyone is up for a ride tomorrow. Oh, only ride with those with at least minimal gear. Boots, jacket, gloves, etc.

I lived in Gahanna and I can personally tell you the East side isn't what it use to be. Some moron broke into my Explorer to steal my daughters soccer practice equipment!
I'm in Hilliard/Columbus, right on the border. Hilliard schools, Columbus taxes and my house is for sale. I love the house but due to work, I have to sell. My commute just sucks. Let me know if your interested!

It's Sunday that your going to have to worry about anyway...

Thanks Matt!

I switched to my tried and true Michlien's. Had a set of Evo's, low pressure endurance tire and was doing great till I caught a screw in the rear before leaving Texas. Went to Iron Pony (that place got huuuuge) and the only 200/55 in stock was a Dunlop, which was also called a "Evo". I'll let you know after the weekend how I like it.
