  1. This is a very sad situation. Regarless of what, if any, sentence the driver recieves, living with this every day will be harder than anything the courts can do to him. RIP to Bill and my thoughts are with his family during this hard time.
  2. Horrible RIP. He will live on in the lives he saved. I think the best punishment for this kind of thing is locking these people in a room with the family and letting them have justice.
  3. Glad to hear you are OK. And it's good that people flagged her down, I am shocked she still didn't see you and had to be told.

  5. Says car did not see motorcycle in intersection.
  6. I made level 5 then gave up. Good time killer at work

  8. So luckly I didn't have to go to work today. I did plow out the car this morning around 8:30. I can't tell now, the snow is back up over the bumpers. I did play with the dog today. And the bikes are in the shed, they are sad being locked up.
  9. You are right, it doesn't tell you much. But way to jump on my post and no one else that posted similar information. And for the information I am 29, no kids, with a good driving record but have a wreck on the policy. And for more information this is a 250 comp/250 collision. All I was trying to point out is what I pay at State Farm.
  10. I have been with State Farm since I was 16, I have had no problems with filing claims. The body shop I prefer deals directly with State Farm and I don't even have to talk to an adjuster. For our bikes we pay $10/ mn for the 82 Honda, $23/mn for the 2000 Yamaha and $35/mn for the 2006 Kawasaki. The Yamaha and Kawasaki are both full coverage with $250 deductible. We pay $250/mn for 3 cars (2 are WRX's one is a 69 Camaro) and 3 bikes. All full coverage, not bad.
  11. Nope.. Sorry. We are letting a friend borrow it for the summer to ride with us. He sold his bike last year before we bought ours, so this way he can still go places with us.
  12. We are getting two bikes tomorrow. My boyfriend's is the 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan and I am getting the 2000 Yamaha V Star Custom 650. The first thing I am doing is removing the windshield on mine. I may also add floorboards, I haven't decided yet. We bought an older bike last summer to see if we liked riding. We did so now we bought newer bikes to ride together.
  13. I will do this, I will PM you the info. It may be a few days however. I need to stop and get a volt meter and find a few minutes to do this. Thanks
  14. I purchased it and they charged it. I was told it was charged and did not test it. I am going to take it back to the store and have them test it and recharge it.
  15. First let me say, I am new to motorcycles, so I know nothing. Be gentle with your answers. A friend took me to a parking lot today to learn how to ride. I have a 1982 CB650. Found out the battery would not stay charged. The bike would be at an idle and it would die and not want to start up, only clicking if we were lucky. When we were done riding my friend drove the bike home. It tried to start (like the battery had started to charge on the way home) It is a new battery, got it on Sunday. 1- could it be a bad or not charged properly battery 2- could it be the stator or regulator 3- is there a way to test to determine what it is 4- where is the best place to buy parts
  16. The course is full for the rest of the year, unless you all know something I dont. I figure I will get my permit, ride around my house and wait till next year for the course. I am thinking of trying the test this year but still take the course next year
  17. Just purchased my first bike a 1982 Honda CB650. I don't even have my permits yet.
