ive been on hiatus. I don't think that race would turn out the same now lol congrats on the bike looks like a beast. i'll be there, as of now my schedule is clear and sounds like a damn good time.

how many people (rough idea) are planning on going on this ride?

I have a 95 f3 and it needs some tlc. i'm looking for bar ends, mirrors, a turn signal housing(probably not the correct name, the plastic cylinder looking thing that the signal switch is in and also the choke lever), probably some grips, possibly a front fairing stay and some flush mount signals. I know i could go on ebay and get most, if not all of these things but that is a last resort. if you have any of that stuff let me know. thanks for reading:)

thanks for the ideas guys, it is tubing(steel if i'm not mistaken). it definitly wouldn't need that much. i'll have to take everything apart to find out exactly where it's bent

does anyone know of a person/company around here that would correct a front fairing stay that is bent? it isn't off that bad. it is on a 95 f3. thanks in advance for any advice:D

the pics do it a lot of justice. all the plastics are junk. on the good side it is running good. it has a yoshi slip on and the guy said he thought it was jetted but he wasn't sure. overall i'm happy with it. it's mechanically sound but it ain't pretty. I hope it isn't the jetting i had my hands full with 2 carbs i won't know what the hell to do with 4.

after listening to a bunch of sound clips i have come to the conclusion that my bike sounds alright. it is running a lot better since the seafoam in the tank. if i can get some fairings halfway cheap i'll be damn happy

+1 on nick's 636, very nice bike, i didn't see a flaw on it(from behind it anyway,dammit)

alright guys i now have a 600 thanks to exSRAaron 's heads up(thanks man) i ended up getting it for 1600. needs plastics. the problem i am having is that it sounds off. now bear in mind i am used to the 500 but i also generally know what a 600 should sound like and this one doesn't sound right. it sounds like it has a lope to it, which leads me to believe a dead cylinder. i checked the plugs and the only one that was questionable was black the rest were the right color. all cylinders also have spark. i am going to pour seafoam down the fuel line tonight and let it soak the carbs tonight. other than that does anyone know of any quick things i can check? the bike seems like it runs good but vibrates. as much if not more than the 500. it also pops on engine braking. sorry for the long post just trying to be thorough. oh and also when i blip the throttle it bogs for a second

i was looking around that price range. so does that mean the only thing good about that bike is that it is cheap or is it a decent year for that bike(maintenance-wise)

i want a bike that is at least bearable for the longer rides but handles well (for the long rides with twisties;)) what i'm looking for is maybe short reviews (likes, dislikes, problems with a particular model). and also do you guys think the prices are ok? i know in the end i am just going to have to test ride bikes to see what i think but it would help having a little info going in.

i am selling my bone stock gs500e for a little bigger bike (f2 or an f3) this bike is in perfect shape. it has never been dropped or wrecked and i haven't had a single problem with it. it has had a fresh oil change and is running great. there is one very small dent in the tank that i didn't notice until i waxed it the first time, other than that, perfect shape. it is also listed on craigslist. and yes my garage is a mess. give me a call if you are interested 937-247-5438, or drop me a PM
