btw, the only way to make sure their perfectly straight is to ride it, obviously not you, but bring along someone who can, everything can appear straight, but ya never know, i rode a katana for a friend once, everything looked straight, but it shook like a banshee as low as 20 mph

750's were FI 99 and up, 600's were 2001 and up, i wouldnt offer more than 3k, go with him to get it checked out. As for the pipe, heck buy somethin used off ebay, costs 3 times as less as new. but D&D is crap

meh..not really, im gonna be 19 here soon, and liabilty cost me 12$ a month, compared to 100+ for my car. OP if you buy used and older than 3-4 years, insurence wont be a problem. As far as a 600 goes for a first bike, i would say its fine, just take a msf course first, and your golden
