  1. You can also apply for an abandoned vehicle title, they send a letter to the previous owner, and if there's no response within 30 days, it's yours you'll get another clean title. I think the SH way gets you a salvage title. There's ways to do it, it just takes some effort, the Ohio BMV is the most screwed up and impossible system to get ANYTHING done.

  2. built LS1's? hell I know quite a few who've busted the stock 10 bolt with bone stock cars, not even sticky tires. they were junk and I can't believe they were put under that car. Horrible decision IMHO

  3. I assume these are fully tubed cars, not street machines?

    Nope. All street machines, with cages of course, but only 6 pointers, I think only the GN has a full cage in it. The 8.50 GN is driven on the street, hell he had it at the meeting a few weeks ago, This one gets about 5k miles a summer put on it;

    Thats also on the "small shot" for shake down runs, he tore into it after that because of a vibration, wasted the thrust bearing.

    There's quite a few serious cars in Akron, a certain 9 second AMC Gremlin drives the car here to Youngstown to race. Him, that green/silver fox, and the Mach I have been going at it for a few years.

  4. She was perfect. I never should have sold her. Got rid of her to buy the Syclone :( she was red W/black interior, 6 speed, and all options. with just a cam, 12 bolt and 3.73's and a Textraillia clutch, and full intake and exhaust goodies (stock intake manifold) she put down 433hp 402lbs/ft TQ :cry:

    Check out the Toys section of my Myspace, there's a bunch of pics of it in there, along with the Sy and my other junk I've owned through the years.

  5. Like it or not, believe it or not. There is a difference in every different type of oil out there. there isn't just one large bin that they randomly slide different bottles under and fill and just market them different.

    Now on that note, as a mechanic who's torn allot of engines appart, mainly car engines, there are quality oils, and junk oils. run whatever the hell you want to, just dont sell your bike to me. Modern engines especially as closely toleranced as our bikes are, need special oil that is rated for use in these engine. don't believe me? go find a Chrysler car that SPECIFIES ATF+3 and drain, and refill it with Dexton 4. If you make it around the block condsider yourself lucky. the differences in the oil WILL kill the trans, seen it happen many times. idiots just grab whatever oil is cheap, top off a few times and the trans only lasts a few thousand miles.

  6. woah, we're talking about a ZZR/ZX13.5 here and we're calling a Hayabusa UGLY? :wtf: okay, because the spider looking headlights, huge non-descript hole in the front, george foreman/wanna-be-ferrarri vents on the side, and 1980's seat are the pillar of modern stylng :puke:

  7. Lots of turbo cars don't have MAF's. actually a MAP sensor is better suited to the job.

    your going to bringin up the rear then. Hope your not doing this to race, Hell the club I'm in you bring a 10 second car to the show and you get laughed out. You need to be doing 9.90's to hang with the slow guys and if you want to take on the big dogs there's a GN going 8.5's and a Stick shift 57 goin 8.90's :D guess what they're all running....

  8. hell i dont know i dont stay up on chevy parts I am kind of tired of dumping money in my focus so I am going to dump it in my s10. By spring time should have a 454 in it.

    Turbo 4.3

    all I'm sayin.

    :D

    Hell if it's 2wd I'd just drop a GN engine and trans in it, it'll fit allot easier too.

  9. they bolt right up, you need the whole front clip though. fenders, hood, coresupport, and bumper. the rads interchange, and 99% of the parts interchange. They didn't change much in the GenII other than the looks. the bed will bolt right on too, get the rear bumper
