It's not the same... I don't think they'll make anything that will live up to the legacy of the old 302. The 5.0 displacement means nothing, other than some creative marketing. If it did, they would have built the 4.6 out to a 5.0 a long time ago. Same for the good old 5.7 or 350 from chevy. Notice that they didn't bother to try to match the displacement? They DID manage to exceed the power levels, AND keep the low end torque that Ford seemed to lose with the newer engines of the same era./rant
Do the the 'tumble' of a 4v head, a 2v head is superior to a 4v head where it matters most during street driving, below 4k rpms.

I understand that sentiment but don't you also pay more for your car and home owners insurance than you use? What is your point...just saying?
yeah but it doesn't cost me a co-pay or a stupid premium every time i walk into my house or start my car/bike.
Also eventually i'll be done paying for my house, and then if I sell it, I get my money (and probably then some) back. I'd like to see you sell and insurance policy.

Wow, I seriously can't believe this thread went this way. Sad. WTF is wrong with hopping up a V6? Grand National? Syclone? GTP? I'm sure if this was for an Acura or Honda I4 S/C half the board would be swinging off his nuts and salavating. God knows I've raced and hopped up ALOT in my day, and if hes living under his parents roof, and they say no V8, so be it.

I just bought a Canon XSi with 18-55 and 55-250 lenses for $630. Thought that was a pretty good deal. Canon had a $200 instant rebates going on...not sure if you missed it or not.

No she doesn't have any lenses, starting fresh here. So the Nikon D3000 or the Cannon XS? Do Either of these have more features than the other? She loves B&E and sepia but those could be done after the shot.

Okay, need a gift for the woman, she's into photography pretty big and had a pretty nice hybrid but due to unfavorable circimstances lost it. Her friend bought her a cheap ass 100 Walmart camera as a Maid of honour fife for being in her wedding, and even though she won't admit it, she hates it, I hate it and I don't take many pics.
Now, I'd like to get her a nice first starter DSLR but I'm about as clueless they get when it comes to these things. So guys and girls, feed me some info. Hell sell me your old cams even. I need something.

I am also looking for a sholder holster for summer riding on the m.c. I figure that would be the best for a one piece leather, other then just putting it in the tank bag.
If you are talking about this holster the clips look like they would dig into your side with no leather between you and the clip?
Have it for my XD45, love it. Favoriet holster, wear it every day. Can't say enough good things about it. The clips don't dig into you, I've worn it without undershirts and with my shirt tucked in between the clips and the gun and it's a great fit. You can also get brown clips to go with a brown belt and the bodies are changable to accomidate different guns.
Looking at the crossbreed I'd say go for it it looks like the minataur or vise versa and I'm VERY happy with mine.

Not that the .22 is just small, the MAIN reason it's not a choice protection weapon is the fact that it's a rim fire cartridge. In a situation where it must go band, it must be a centerfire. Rim fires are known to be less than perfect, got put 100 rounds of any type of rimfire through any gun, I'll garentee you several duds. When your life is on the line you don't want one of those in the chamber.

Advance auto parts, rent a system pressure tester, place on rad in place of cap, pump up, note loss of pressure (if any) and look for leaks while cars Cole and not running. Best way to check water pump weep hole. Kinda tough to do when the cars hot and running.

No a 4v head is a Pent Roof design, a Hemi head is truly hemispherical, and it's not all it's cracked up to be, in the 60's it was a great thing, but bath tub parallel valve heads have surpassed it, hence the 2 plugs per cylinder, they have somewhat less than desirable burn characteristics than a bath tub style combustion chamber, but the two plugs do successfully move the plug to the outside of the chamber where there is some air movement. top dead center of the chamber is actually about the worst place you could put a plug.
