  1. click this link, but don't do anything, just let it sit don't move the mouse or anything, in about a min you'll see something awesome! It's a website for a store in the Netherlands, can't understand what it says but it's chock full of win :D

also at the end, note what they call the little radio in the upper right hand corner :D enjoy!

  2. So in addition to to a cell antenna it has a gps antenna too????????

    I doubt it.

they do say ignorance is bliss. Yes the phone, along with MANY other smart phones, has a built in GPS reciever. Seperate from the cellular antenna. There are even other phones out there with, get this, FM recievers and transmitters!

Not that a GPS signal can't be lost but it's much more unlikely unless your in a building or a cave or tunnel or some shit.

  3. i'll stick with my verizon.. i got gps on it. turn by turn :p

yeah for another $10 a month, AT&T has that to but it's dependant on signal. That's why I opted for this, it's a one time charge, and works regaurdless of signal, maps are stored on the phone.

  4. 1. HP is a function of torque

    2. if you ride in the city all day stop light to stop light, torque is where its at.

Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, Torque is how far you take the wall with you...

    Torque... It's what moves you

    :)

20 lbs/ft of tq at 2000 RPMs is instantly noticable, 20hp @ 7000 is not, power under the curve is where it's at, especially on a car where your moving something heavy, on a bike when your just moving around say 5-700 lbs you can live with less tq and more HP because the burden isn't as great.

  5. Or you could just be smart and know where you're going all the time. That would save $70 and explain why Dweezel had to buy it. :D

Oh really... Then I won't mention the numerous phone calls, and bitching about a dead battery in a GPS unit on your way to my place. Not to mention actually having to come lead you to the house from down the road so you could find it :D

GPS is very handy, and while I am great with directions and getting where I'm going, It's always good to have. and 70 dollars for a GPS unit beats the hell out of several hundred dollars and having to carry around another piece of junk :violin: That and traveling as much as I do to as many different and diverse locations, it was a must have.

I heard about the TomTom software too. Looks interesting but I do really like the layout and features on this app. very user friendly, has 'scenic' route settings, motorcycle option (haven't figured out what that does yet) and a few others.

  6. I got this the other day and so far love it. It stores the whole thing on the phone so it works when there is no service, and is a one time charge unlike ATT navigator that's $10 a month. It's also 1.3 gig so make sure you have the room. I'm pointing it out because it goes up to $100 after the 15th

check it out if your looking for some solid turn by turn nav option for your phone, I've got this and the Griffin Window seat to hold the phone and it works excellently. Also a car charger is reccommended too.

  7. Yeah JRMMiii is stillconvinced that Osama...er Obama is god. The Health care bill is the end of the free world. It has SOOO many parts that fuck the common man it's unbelievable that even ONE person would vote yes to it. Big government finally has what it wants and everyone is about to have the rug pulled out from under them with their eyes closed.

  8. Don't take recommendations, get out there sit, and ride them all, Honduh, Cowie, Suzuki, Yamahaw, take them all out and make YOUR decision on that. They are all virtually the same performance wise, your essentially looking for what fits you best. Also, I'd give the 1125R a serious look. I sat on one at Mid Ohio and really liked it, and it seems they've toned down the scoops on the side and it didn't look so bad, kinda liked it, if I was in the market I'd have to give it a SERIOUS consideration.
