  1. None yet. Will maybe tomorrow... It'll be set up so you guys can come with when we go to Grattan and further venues!
  2. So, here it is completed. Did the inside, but decided to get black rims for it to match the truck more... I think it looks sweet. Need to get better pics, but you get the idea...
  3. Bump up for new price. $450 for version #1. I am going to keep the wheels and hydro brakes and sell it as seen in the top series of pics. STOCK P1s sell for $900 before tax. For HALF the price of new (Didn't change anything other than colors for 2010), you get the better cranks and a better rear rim. You'd have over $1200 in the bike easily with those options added to a new one...
  4. True dat... Doubt you'll EVER see it being used as it was intended... Will look good at those "biggest dick swinging" contests, though!
  5. RT forks? Seriously? With that kind of build? Awesome parts collected, though. Cannot imagine the total cost...
  6. So, you assume ALL salesmen are the same way? Nice... There are PLENTY of sales people that I know that I am sure can show you and pretty much anyone else around a dirt trail, track or park. Not to mention pavement... Many are enthusiasts like us all and just like people who drive cars, not all are idiots... What are you talking about me referring to ATV riding? Not sure where you got that from...? I was referring to the turd seen here: http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/suzuki/2005-suzuki-drz-400-sm-18268.html And towards any other so called "Motard" bike like the one the OP posted from CL... There are only a few true Sumo bikes. Others are dual sport (which is perfectly fine) which isn't seemingly what he is wanting...
  7. That site makes my head hurt trying to find info... Any link for LG LCD settings?
  8. Never REMOTELY implied that he didn't give 100%... What I was saying is that Mike is so very busy that he farms it to someone to get done. Might be an inside guy, might be to Ohlins direct, might be something else. Point is that he's pretty tied up with National stuff and is pretty busy to do it on his own. I remember when he worked on our stuff first hand... Now, not so much.
  9. Another note for Reuben. Thermosman works with Reuben on info and he has extensive knowledge of Ohlins internals. Mike typically is very busy and not 100% unless you are at the track that he puts his hands on your stuff... Reuben can get you set up or at least answer questions. 317-850-3884
  10. Don't think all dealerships are like stated above. There are PLENTY of legit dealerships that do things right. The guys that think all of them are "stealerships" are typically shit customers that want everything for free... As for a Sumo bike, the guys recommending the DRZ400 are those that probably haven;t ridden a converted 450 MX bike. The 450s are night and day as as seen in the pics above of crf69s, they can be VERY awesome street legal steeds. The DRZ is a great choice for long rides and something heavier for the guy that doesn't ride them aggressively. The DRZ is VERY heavy and VERY low on power output. It is a trail/play bike converted for street use. I like the WRX, Husky, etc ideas, too. More MX oriented. BUT, to each their own. I also think the dual sport bikes are a great choice and for that, a few stand out. Do some searching and ask yourself what you want to do with it. The one from CL that you proposed is only $1500. If you are under a budget, there are better options. The one you listed is very soft in suspension and a play/trail bike moreso than a sturdier one you'll get with something converted or more aggressive. Yamaha's 250 sumo is pretty neat if you want something smaller and honestly, is better at a lot of things than the DRZ400 is... But, again - it's what you want...
  11. Also, use Vance's ads or Sportsman's Den to compare new prices against the current generation stuff...
  12. I used the D90 at the Steelers game and must say that I want one of those as my very own. I think for especially at the track, it would be the best tool for use. Everything else I have looked at seems to be not as good. Of course, that price is killing me, but I found a few used ones in a not so bad price range...
  13. Very true on ammo. Unless you have something that is hard to buy for, everyday stuff like 9mm, 40, 45, etc were WAY over priced. You can save ALMOST half as to what they were asking... Now, some things were decent in terms of ammo, but most were at least $10 more than Wally's World...
  14. Was it on sale this month? That's what I really am leaning towards...
  15. I understand on long rides on the boring freeway, but in downtown around 17th? And obviously not able to ride with a lot of ability, I would choose to ride upright and be able to control the bike in and out of traffic... Tucking on long trips isn't what I am referring to...
  16. First, you don't need to be full tuck at 70-75 mph. Second, if you'd sit up, you might not weave as much as you were. You were over exaggerating your lane changes fierce. Even when you changed lanes, you were all over. Probably moving the bike to check mirrors... Take and sit up so you have more leverage on the bike. Also, consider a riding school... Christ.
  17. Lame. The show has nothing but over priced stuff... I was looking for an XD 40 sub compact or Glock 27 and everything was $70-$100 plus more than Vance's has them for... Horrible...
  18. So, you're going to start racing now?
  19. Have a good day with the Family yesterday? Didn't see you come by... Going to the gun show Saturday at Vets. You going?
  20. Really hits home... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VruWHHEnZGw&feature=player_embedded
  21. Thanks for the invite, buddy... Where's the love?
  22. Been a Suomy guy since they same into the US. The weird thing with the poll is that you are comparing totally different helmet types... Suomy is nowhere near the lower quality of HJC, Rocket and Icon. All three are made out of the same plants for the most part. Suomy is Italian made and well above the standards of the other three...
  23. Put 'er on the dash with a full mag and a round in the chamber. When asked, tell the officer that you are Gangsta like that. Watch your head when they place you in the back seat with cuffs on, though...
  24. Better than every station picking up Boob and Tit... The Mansfield Fox station that had Lex and Terry dropped it to pick up Bob and Tom. I fucking hate that show. Always laughing at thier own jokes and caoughing like lungers... The Rock in Columbus sucks, too. the only station I have left is 106.7 in CBus...
