What you don't realize is that they build these for race platforms - not a focus on street riders. 3 way mapping allows it to be legal for racing that requires only OEM add-ons. Otherwise, if you put a 3 way mapping system on a bike that doesn't have it at OEM, it is illegal... Every year, they start to get closer and closer to making these turn key racers. Look at the ZX10 for 08. Traction control. First race bike to have it. Legal for SS racing now and with the fact that the guys at Dyno Jet and others who work with these electrical systems, they'll have something to make it even better for racing...

Can bring these Monday or they're going up on Ebay... You can easily store these in trash bags over winter in a basement or closet and they'll be fine. Room temp is really goo to avoid freezing...

Got the new parts. Was the drive gear for 6th and 3rd/4th gear and the shifter fork. Thanks for all the leg work from many of you in searching around. I really appreciate it. Hopefully, I'll get her together tonight and finish Sunday for the Monday STT. See ya all there!

Me gotta say that in street trim, it looks like shit. The headlights and turns are killing me. I really don't even weigh in on any street exhaust as they last at most, 500 miles.... In race trim, it's going to look AWESOME!! Can't wait to ride it. Hope it turns better...

Actually, the internals are the same. I think they actually fit in teh 750, but the hardening process seemingly is different. That's according to Mark Junge. He said to NOT run 600 tranny parts on teh 750... I'll wait for a 750...

08s hopefully will address the weak frames. If they do, that is enough to make the 08s WAY better than the 06/07s. Plus, teh 08s are supposed to be stiffer chasis and better power. The current 06/07 is shit in the 600. The 750 is good, though. Well, outside the shit frame...

Why not? If they are a billet set of triples I'd go for it. Cast stuff? Hmmm..... Not sure if I'd feel good about that one...

If you're geared right, you hit 6th EASILY. If you try and gear for 5th, you aren't coming out of the keyhole fast enough...

Oh, yeah... Wheel is spinning in 5th at the kink and I click 6th right after and carry to the 5 board... Track day, though. Race pace is a little afterwards... I think the load and the wheel spinning through the kink before the shift put the strain on it. Randy Sherman has an 05 750 that had teh same thing happen. I would have NEVER guessed I would drop 6th gear though. 2nd, 3rd, I can see as I have done those, but 6th?!?

Yeah, but there's 6 days left. I really wanted to fix this before next week. I am willing to go to Mid-O and ride another buddy's bike for Tues and Wed, but I want this fixed before the Oct 1 and 2 dates... It should be just a day's fix if I have the parts... Next, a Sony DSC-S85. -Has the charger, all documents, original box and wrappings and has the CD. -4.1 Mega Pixels CCD -6x Zoom -MPEG Movie EX -Carl Zeiss lens -USB Interface -Stamina Battery Kit Been a great camera, but we just bought a new one and this and the Canon aren't being used. I'd like to sell both cameras together, but MAKE OFFER... Finally, another camera... Canon S2 IS... -5 Mega Pixels -12x Optical Zoom -30 fps/VGA -TWO SD disks. One is 16 and the other 256. -USB -Print Share Button -Have all cords (USB), has a camera case, all documents, original box and wrappings, and will have new AA batteries... Only a year old. A few scratches as Canon's bodies are shit plastic, but overall very good. So, everything is listed. I was thinking like about $300 obo for it all? I think that's kinda a good place to start.
