  1. The only thing I can think of and maybe you thought of this:

In Ohio, if the title was never actually switched into the crackhead's name at the BMV then the dealership is still the owner according to the title. IDK how it's done in WV, but in Ohio you can get another title printed out if you lose your original. Maybe you could get the dealership to do this for you and sign it over to you this time? It's a long shot and probably slightly illegal.

  2. i know but i would like to sell it and pay off my other bike or get a supermoto

You can sell it without a title as a track only bike.

That's a clusterfuck situation though. It doesn't sound like there is any way to fix it without getting a hold of the crackhead. Have you talked to the dealership yet?

  3. Gotcha, well if he is really anxious to sell so he can get rid of his payments that is more reason to not screw you over. With a bill of sale, the bike and his address I think you should be fine. Also, you could make a copy of his driver's license and mail it back to him when you receive the title? Just another idea, too.

  4. What happens if I never get the title?

Call the cops? :dunno: My first street bike and first car both had liens on them. The guy even owed more on the car than what I was paying for it. I wrote up a bill of sale for both and took the vehicles with me. I wouldn't have done it this way though if I didn't feel comfortable with the seller.

  5. IMO, sandpaper is the best and safest way to break them in. Just put your bike up on rear stands, start it up, put it in gear, and hold the sandpaper to the tire (I prefer 60-80grit). The faster way is to get a buddy to hold the throttle open (maybe like 45-50mph) and use an electric grinder with sandpaper disc. This is also a good way to lube your chain and remove fingers. ;)

I hooked ya up with some positive rep, only because you have a honda :D

    + another

  6. You're such a girly girl. The other sites doing this trip are in PA and KY. Just strap your stuff to your bike and ride. The hard one to figure out is alcohol. Do you bring it with you? Or do you find some near the campground after you've unloaded? Ah, life's questions.

 Sleeping bag, tooth brush, tooth paste, and street clothes...shouldn't have a problem carrying all that stuff. ;)

  7. race over due to rain, under 50 kenseth wins.. fu*k him, i love how jr crashed 1/4 ofthe field...go jr. in 2009

Yeah, and then he tried to blame it on Vickers for 'running him off the race track.' WTH was dale trying to do passing that low when he wasn't even on the lead lap...he couldn't even get back in line without wrecking 10 cars. :nono: Oh well, supercross was more exciting to watch today.

  8. I have had this bike for less than a year and I loved learning to ride on it! I've hurt my back though and don't think I can keep riding. Any offers send me a message!

Sorry to hear about your back. :( Have you tried riding yet, though? Sport bikes can actually be easier on the back than cruisers in many cases. Yours being more of standard/upright position might be a toss up though. I have lower back problems and no way could I ride a cruiser comfortably.

    Anyways, good luck with sale!

  9. yeah it sounds weird man. my 600 is pushin 12.5:1 and the manual says to run 87. not sure with such high compression why it runs lower octane. the 750 runs 12.8:1 and calls for 91. does .3 really make that big a difference?

Nope, other factors are in play such as ignition timing. For example: my old jeep was ~11.0/11.5:1 and absolutely had to have 93.
