  1. Heal up quick.. Its good to hear you had your gear on!
  2. Damn, going all hi-tech on us with printed out maps of the route...
  3. That sucks, bro. Those Worthington cops are ABSOLUTE assholes. I got pulled over by a Greg Earhardt (sp?) for failure to display registration. Stupid me I forgot to put the sticker on my plate and it was still attached to my registration when I handed it to him. The guy was a total dick and instead of just letting me put the sticker on...he writes me a freaking $100 ticket. Plus he took like 20 minutes and made me late for bowling. I blame that prick for the broken thumb I received that night.
  4. +1 for pics of car Aaron & +1 for jeeps being easy as hell to work on I've had a couple Wranglers and a CJ-5 I built from the ground up and all were cake. Hell, my CJ sat so high I could sit upright on my ass underneath it to change the oil. Now my Honda FIT (RIP, totaled it last week:() is a different story...it takes everything I have to get to the oil filter in that car.

    No shit...and a 20 gallon gas tank?
  6. Post printed and mailed to your wife! No need to send a thank you card!
  7. I don't know where you got this info from....nobody I've talked to who has purchased through them has found this to be the case. Their prices listed on the internet are basically out-the-door if you are out of state (they throw on like a $50 fee). Obviously, if you live in Tennessee you have to pay sales tax at the time of purchase. If you are out of state, you can pay when you get the title in your name or don't if you are buying for a track bike only. As far as the long wait, I've heard the exact opposite...they have all the paper work ready to go when you arrive and you are in and out very quickly. They are the largest Honda dealer by volume in the world!...they aren't going to dick around with one customer for several hours. They are going to get your ass out of there as quickly as possible. So for your true cost figure $9,933.00 + ~$50.00 dealer fee + ~$700.00 Ohio sales tax + gas to get down there and you are still going to save several hundred or more over the local dealers. You might call Honda East of Toledo and check their prices on the 1000rr. I know they were comparable to Southern Honda with the 600rr (like $2-300 higher) last year.

Bummer My girlfriend just bought those...hopefully she doesn't get red hands..
  9. You can already get them for $9,933.00 at Southern Honda in Tennessee. Sell your Kawi and make a trip down to Tennessee...its not that far. http://www.southernhonda.com/default.asp
  10. I just talked to Aaron and he said the bike is SOLD!!
  11. Shit! That looks like fun! Me and a friend demolished a van one time like that. We took it off some dirt bike jumps and broke all the motor mounts and the motor/tranny dropped right down onto the suspension. It would only go in reverse so we jumped it a few more times backwards..

Cool man, check out the Teknic gloves on clearance like RC51 John said...they are in the clearance section on the far right hand side or the store. They are like $30 and full gauntlet leather with carbon fiber knuckles.
  13. +1...from what I've read Vmax's run about mid 10s in the 1/4 mile and this is about on par with the 07-08 CBR600rr.
  14. ^Sounds like good stuff and its pretty cheap, too...I might have to try it next time.

    Gloves

I'm not trying to be a dick...but if you just find a pair that fits they will break in to fit your hand and before you know it you will be wondering how you ever rode without them. One crash and your hands could be cut up enough to put you out of work...
  16. I've been using the PJ1 Blue Label chain lube lately. It dries clear and seems to work great.
  17. My first street bike was a 1976 Kawasaki KZ400, but I also had a street legal XR250 I rode a bit before that. I started riding dirt bikes when I was fairly young at my grandparents property up in northern Michigan, and the first dirt bike I could call my own was a CR80.

Often your hands are the first parts to hit the ground when you crash...

Last September...they had good deals on the GP pro, too. I think these were the 2006 gloves they were trying to get rid of.
