The 302 got torn down for a new pan ( that needed modified on the pickup) and head studs and MLS headgaskets. Since I have posted the rust on the car and found a fix I am going to post the build progress on the 86. I am using this car as a driver and trying to do it on a budget but I wont stick to the budget by the end probably. For some reason in the short time I have owned the car it has grown on me, I think its the T tops honestly. I would have posted more pictures before I tore it down but my camera took a shit and using my girlfriends DSLR was just scary if I broke it. So I picked up a nice Canon ( Thanks Damreds) and will document this build as best I can. Interior stripped down to replace the window motors, door actuators, stereo, add new carpet. PAIR removal just helps AF readings on the dyno, not any popping that I know of. Try getting a tune.

I have a fix for the subframe, and I would rather pay the money and have to sell some parts than loose my ass in parting it out. The floorpan doesnt bother me but the subframes HAVE to be fixed.

Tyler I see it this way, most of your friends have cars and seem to enjoy them. IF you were to trade off the car you would be the one bike guy in the group of cars guys which isnt fun, ask me how I know. Secondly bikes on the street just arent were its at. There are too many terible drivers and terrible riders. I have heard countless times about how well people can ride and then when I finally get to ride with them I want to be nowehere near them, granted there is a core group of people I WILL ride with but I trust them with my life. Its uncomfortable and wearing the proper gear is key but you sweat your ass off doing it, I would rather just throw on some shorts and a white T ( Im so hood) and just cruise with the stereo cranked. I was in the same postion as you with the Lightning, I traded it off for my little 1k beauty and I regret that choice since day one. However I understand your different than me I just want you to hear both sides instead of all the two wheeled nazis here.

I can wait til then if nothing else turns up. How long are the cables?
