  1. I dont think anyone understands, I USED lots of heat to get the last three out because the first one came out bent. I cant start the motor because it has no exhaust at all so I used a torch anyway and it still snapped. Secondly the bolt is at such an angle and in a place were you cant get an extractor in the bolt, hammer wont fit. Honda uses a almost permanent threadlocker and a lot of people wind up buying a new valve cover Ben, yes I have snapped a bolt in a car but i can always get ahold of it because there is room. Besides I dont have to tear the car apart to disconnect two hoses to be able to dyno a car for an accurate AF
  2. This furthers my dislike for these godless peices of the horseshit. I decided to keep my bike since I dont have any room to store a car in my garage in Cbus. So I went and started doing the basics to the bike and one of them is the PAIR mod ( gets a better AF reading on the dyno) so I tear into the bike and yank everything out. First bolt on the right PAIR modual was a PITA and it came out bent as hell. So the rest of them I apply heat to and the next two come out fine but the last one had to be a bitch. Applied a little heat, put the 1/4 wrench with an 8mm socket on it and go to break it loose and the fucking head snaps right off. Clean break flush with valve cover. If I have to drop the motor to take the valve cover off I will be one unhappy camper.

  5. DTI or del-ton makes some good stuff. One of the AR mags i get loved their test rifle. The fit was right and it fired flawlessly
  6. meh, I just cant get into it like I thought i could. I mean I cant even ride the bike to the track with all my gear, I would have to buy a tow vehicle and a trailer just for the bike. At least with the Lightning I could pack the bed full and load and unload and drive home.

  8. Isnt very fun. Worst idea I have ever had to sell the Lightning and get a bike, so I am looking for a new vehicle and getting ride of this bike sitting here. I should have guessed living in Ohio that there arent may fun places to ride and not pay for it or having to worry about gravel or grandma taking me out. Guess I just dont get the bike thing like I thought I did, and working on them isnt any fun either.... I would rather do a header swap on a C5 Vette or change plugs in my old Lightning. Ive started looking at cars in the 8k range in a variety of makes and models but what I want I cant afford . I love my Fords but maybe an LS1 is in my future.....

I remember trying on an Astar suit at pony ( cant remember the name of it but its black grey and white) with a Joe Rocket back protector and it was hard to breaath almost but it fit right in all the places it needed to. Ananda was afraid I wasnt going to be able to produce children after though, jees ow that was tight on the captain and two Colonels

  15. I know what the norm is and whats out there as far as tuning in the bike world. The two systems as far as I can tell arent really that advanced compared to what the car world has which blows my mind. Of course the map can be moved and straighted out with a PC or Bazzaz box but if he is just doing a full system without doing filters and the bike already runs rich than I know he will be fine. I mean most bikes from the factory are setup to run rich to meet emissions and keep cylinder temps a little hotter to burn off all the crap. I mean this is all relative, opinions differ and I am just stating mine based on my previous experience with tuning and motor building background. This isnt the word of god but it would be the way I would do it until i got a PC3

  17. At least with the 04-05 1000rr guys they upgrade to the 07 stacks. Its not that they see huge gains but you will see a better shift of the power and torque curve and will gain you few total HP.
  18. Its not that they are shit its just their quality isnt there. besides D&Ds are fackin loud. Two Bros isnt bad and they sound good its just there are other pipes that make more power, so if you just want better sound go with Two Bros. The Pc3 concept is really a matter of opinion, they way the PC3 works isnt really the best to begin with the way the map is created. With a full pipe you can get away without a PC3, it will just lean it out a hair across the map range and wont hurt the motor immediatly but does put it at risk for longevity problems being lean on WOT. Now if you do a aftermarket filter you will need a tune for sure.
