  1. more fun when you don't have to explain to the owner on Monday morning why his bike smells like titties and beer
  2. Yeah that's one advantage to working at my shop, (and being in management) I can take anything used or we have set up as a demo anytime I want. That's cool and all, but I'm still a but nervous and conservative riding a $20k bike that's not mine. Besides, I want to make the (necessary) upgrades/improvements to make it my own.
  3. I know right??? I constantly think about that but I want it to be own
  4. True, and actually my dealership carries triumph at our other location, but there's something extremely appealing about the BMW. And in all reality I of course won't pay $20k for it

Yeah you can relate right? If I remember correctly your B King has a nice set of non-stock cans
  6. I actually really like the Tiger also and am considering it as well...
  7. I've ridden the K12S (I work at A BMW dealer) and it is a cool bike, but it's just a big sportbike. The GS is cool because you can do anything with it. I stopped at a rest area and decided I didn't want to follow the road the whole 50 yards in so I just dipped to the right, rode through the grass, hopped a curb and was exactly where I wanted to be with a big grin
  8. That's a GT. Cool bike but not and adventurer tourer.
  9. Yeah it totally is!! We stayed 2 blocks away on 2nd so we could walk there also. Much fun
  10. We absolutely did! The first set of the night out were taken with my celly, after many... beverages. Most of the second were taken by her while we were riding!

Holpy crap dude, that's killer!! Cuz naturally you needed more HP...
  12. I just got back from there and I have to say it was friggin awesome!! Very cool atmosphere. Here's some pics. 4rt St Live, way cooler than anything in Columbus And the bike of choice for the weekend....
  13. Cool bike but it doesn't have the (adventure) touring capabilities/comfort I'm looking for.
  14. So I sold my 600RR a couple weeks ago to rockstarhonda and had no intention of getting anything else... until this weekend when my new lady friend and I decided to take off and ride to Louisville, KY and I didn't think she would be real comfortable on the FZ, so I took this 2008 BMW R1200GS. I've always liked it but had not explored its capabilities... until now. This bike is AMAZING! It literally does everything well. It's quick, smooth, agile, etc etc.. For anyone who's never ridden anything in the adventure touring class, I highly recommend it! We did about 500 miles, mostly highway, but it was still awesome. I'll keep the FZ and prolly trade the DR in, as soon as I can convince myself (and my bank account) that I really need a $20k motorcycle..
  15. I do, and I my shop is a Yami dealer
  16. This sums up my feelings on the subject
  17. Cool bike. I used to have the same one
