Also, Chuck from your experience with them, I have a 3.90 gear with 26.5" tall tire, and 6000rpm rev limit, will that be ok with the 4L60? Id like to keep the 3.90 in the rearend if possible. Will it shift into overdrive if needed under power?

There isnt much to them, make sure it runs, shifts from gear to gear correctly with no noises and you should be good.

A truck manifold turbo setup can be fabricated at a low enough cost that I would do it. O wait, I am keke Ive used a lot of nitrous and I love it, it is reliable enough if there is a safe tune (Eric S, IPS) and can be had for around 5-600
