  1. You wouldn't drive a Ducati truck yet attend Ducati only track days at Laguna Seca. I would never go to one of those because the only people who do are douche bags who can't ride and drive Ducati trucks. Does that fit the bill or are am I judging a book by its cover? Who the fuck cares what color the truck is painted anyways? I'd get one and haul my gixxer in it, Ducati stickers and all.
  2. I just got a Macbook last week and I love it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once used to it, the Mac is very simple and intuitive to use. About being upgradeable, they are just as upgradeable as a PC. I can upgrade everything that you'd be able to upgrade in a PC laptop. Which isn't much since laptops aren't really upgrade friendly to begin with. I really don't know what you'd want to upgrade other than ram anyways. Anything else and you might as well buy a new machine anyways. They run everything a PC can run including windows. I read that the new mac runs Vista better than a PC of comparable price. I have Microsoft office so I'm not hung out to dry with class assignments. Go to the apple store and play around with them a bit and talk to someone there. They really are superior machines. If you can afford it get the MacBook Pro, it has the computing power of a desktop in laptop form.
  3. A floating rotor won't give you better breaking power, they'll just provide a little less caliper drag thus higher top speed. That and a warped rotor won't be as big of a problem.
  4. Wait, so why is the truck gay then? Unless you're being sarcastic.
  5. Toyota and Ducati teamed up to build the ultimate track day transporter. All I know is I want one. http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2008/11/toyota-has-part.html
  6. A floating front rotor!? Really? Trying to raise your max speed to 93? Or maybe cut your quarter mile time by a few seconds?
  7. Granted but you have to make it up on Christmas day. I wish I had a cold beer right now.
  8. I'm sure they'll be able to throw something into the pot to spice them up a little bit so they won't be exactly the same.
  9. Yea, can we set up a group buy or something?
  10. You won't have to ever change the calipers, just the pads. I decided to put R1 calipers on the bike for the slight increase in performance. Pads depend on milage and how hard you ride. Track day junkies go through pads like crazy. Street riders can get a couple of seasons or more out of their pads. I put braided lines on the bike before I changed the calipers and I would recommend you do the same regardless if you change pads or not. For the money they are one of the better upgrades out there. I didn't have to change the lines out with the new calipers but I think I might anyways due to a slight difference in fitment. If you're thinking about lines let me know we could work something out. I'll give you my lines and a set of high performance pads for a set of braided R1 lines.
  11. 10 was going to be my second choice. The one in black looks like a bitch
  12. Granted, your tickets for the Titanic are in the mail. I wish I weren't bored right now.
  13. Granted, but now you're Rosie O'Donnell's tampon. I wish it were spring again.
  14. The calipers? Around 7 and change, my bike is geared so I'm not exactly sure.
  15. Let me know if and/or when you're going to get lines for the bike. Since I put the R1 calipers on I might need some R1 lines. (mine work for now but I think I'll want to change them anyways.) We could maybe work out a trade. You get me the R1 lines and I'll give you my lines plus a set of Vesrah pads! Teamwork yea!!
  16. I don't think that Yota wants to start out on rollers. They kinda have a steep learning curve.
  17. Facking whoolies... I actually need new springs. That or I need to workout and drop some lbs over the winter.
  18. I got new brakes, I got new brakes, I got new brakes hey hey hey hey! I was going to put them on over the winter, but decided that I didn't want to wait that long, so I threw them on last night.
  19. Shit I've already checked off one of my winter projects...
  20. OR... You and I can make some babies together. A tax brake would be like frosting on the cake.
  21. We're stealing a Cessna? I thought we were rolling in a G5 son. Ok maybe not Wisconsin but you'd definitely be passed Chicago. I'm from Chicago and the city is a little over 20 min inside of the IL line by car. But, if Flounder is flying I'm down. I haven't been back home in a while.
  22. 20 min inside the IL line and you're past Chicago and almost in Wisconsin. By plane that is...
