  4. I'll call Duke tomorrow. I know at B.G., it was like 125 per hour, but that was like 10 years ago.
  5. Even if we don't get in a league, we could rent ice time for an hour or two. When everyone who is playing chips in, it isn't that expensive. I can see about renting ice time at the OSU rink (the ice isn't that great, but it is ice).
  6. I played in A league when I was in school at OSU, but I would play in B if I were playing as a staff member. I haven't played in several years. ugh... Cmoose is right, the chiller has some good competition.
  7. Don't you have to use format specifiers instead of the operators? Awk sees < as an operator but you have to use something like printf(%s%s%s%sn",60,98,114,62) to print the string you want "<br>"? I haven't used awk in a while, but I recall doing something similar.
  8. That stinks. I am designated essential, but as long as I can work from home I don't have to go in, per university rules. My director told me that I didn't need to worry about working though.

  10. The truth is always the right thing at work. If I were your supervisor, I would make fun of you for sticking your finger where you shouldn't and then approve the purchase of a replacement fan.
  11. Okay, gotcha. I was under the impression that you were still within the contract period. As a month to month, you should get your security deposit and find a new place. I wouldn't wait to be evicted. If you are trying to rent again, your name would show up in court records of the eviction. Even though it wasn't for non-payment, some landlords would possibly not rent to you because of that. As an aside, I wasn't trying to sell any law services, I just didn't know the situation. Sorry.
  12. Let it be known, I am not a lawyer. I am a landlord though, and this is what I have seen happen. It depends on what the bank wants to do. I have seen instances where the landlord (the bank in this case) allows the tenant to finish out the lease. It all depends on what the bank is going to do with the property. Incidentally, I would ask your current landlord about any security deposits you may have given. You may want to speak to an attorney about this if your security deposit is significant. PM me if you want to talk to a lawyer, I have a good landlord - tenant guy who is very reasonable.

  14. I am a systems manager at a large university in Columbus. I deal with the gd customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people! Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

  16. No doubt! Are you going to the OSU vs ND hockey games in February? I am taking my oldest son to the Friday game. $11 per ticket and includes a piece of pizza, a soda, and a free pass to skate at the osu ice rink.
