This. I had to have them repair a line at my old house. Depending on the extent of the leak and how much time it's going to take to repair it, you're probably looking at a couple hundred. I think your and your family's life is worth more than that. Just get it fixed.

I called the BMV today. She said that if the car is in storage for the winter, it's considered a seasonal vehicle and does NOT need insurance. She said you have to have, at the minimum, liability when you drive the car. She also said that if you receive the random letter, you just need proof from your insurance company that you carry insurance during the driving season. I called my insurance company, told them what the BMV told me, and dropped my coverage to Comp only.

I know. I know. Work has owned me this year. I feel like I've traveled and worked more hours this year than I have my entire life. I'm currently on day 6 of a 26 day stretch working 10+ hours a day. After this month is over, I get to start traveling again mid-late January. Oh joy.
