  1. Anyone have it? Likes? Dislikes? I currently have Verizon. My contract will be up in 3 months. I have been thinking about switching to this Straight Talk service. I did a quick search on here and didn't see anything about them. Let's see: With Verizon, I have 450 minutes, unlimited text, voice mail, caller id, and insurance for a whopping $72 per month!! With Straight Talk, I could get unlimited nationwide calls, unlimited text, voice mail, caller id for $45 per month and it uses Verizon's network!! All I do is talk and text. This would be a perfect fit for me. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Straight Talk service. I'm just looking for comments from people who have used or are currently using this service. I don't want to hear about how Sprint is better, or AT&T is better, blah, blah, blah. I am cutting back on unnecessary bills. To be able to save $30 per month on my cell phone bill would be awesome!
  2. Are those "skid marks" on the driver seat? LoL.
  3. I am pretty sure that by law, you have 3 days to return the car. You could take any info you have on the car to them and shove it in their face and demand your money back. However, it's possible that his statement was not completely untrue. Maybe it's an elderly couple that owns a rental car business, so technically, it was a one owner car; just used by many people. I would call and talk to the sales manager. Let him know what was told to you and what you found out. See what happens.
  4. How well did you like the air purifier? Did you notice if it really cut down on dust at all?

  6. In case anyone was wondering, I went with the $200 guy. He did an awesome job. Even I almost can't tell where he textured. The pics are in this thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76269 If you need ceiling texture done, definitely give this guy a call. Tom Sperry - 614-620-2266
  7. I say leave them black. They'll be less noticeable and make for a cleaner look.
  8. Probably not. But I'm not going to be replacing them, so it doesn't matter to me. I understand what you're saying though.
  9. I have been working on remodeling my kitchen for a little over a year now. I don't work on it every day or every weekend, which is mainly why it's taken so long. I haven't been in a rush to get it done, and I'm still not done with it. I still have to put new outlets/switches in, new flooring, and new baseboard. I just wanted to share what has been keeping me from doing anything with my car. Anyway, on with the pics. This is what it looked like when I started: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/PB230029.jpg Removing the soffit: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/PB240034.jpg http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/PC050043.jpg http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/PC050046.jpg Drywall going up: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/PC200038.jpg http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/P6130037.jpg Measurements being taken for new counter tops: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/P6100029.jpg New counter tops installed by Granite Transformations: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/P6220027.jpg I had a breakfast nook added on, but I'm missing a ton of pics from that: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/Stuff049.jpg I had to have someone come in and texture the bare drywall on the ceiling to match the existing. He did an awesome job: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/Stuff026.jpg I sanded the rough edges down for the knock-down look and painted: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/Stuff028.jpg And this is what it looks like as of now: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii316/OsuSully/House/Kitchen%20Project/Stuff060.jpg

  12. Sounds like a scam to me. Pretty much every email that I've received from someone making me an offer on my item is HALF of what I have it listed for. I have never received an email from someone offering more than asking price. Never. Plus, I think you're really only protected by Paypal if the transaction is done through ebay. I always do cash only transactions when dealing with CL.
  13. hmmm, quite possibly.
  14. I had a company build a breakfast nook off my kitchen last summer and I didn't need a permit. The city wants you to get a permit so that they can get more money from you. All they do is send someone out to check each step to make sure it's right. I watched it myself during the build process. It looked fine to me and it turned out great.
  15. I think your best option then would be to make the gate a double door gate so that you can close it and lock it. Then you could throw gravel back there and no one would be the wiser.

  17. Here's the Jeff Foxworthy bit I was talking about. It starts at 14 seconds:
  18. I'm not getting the wave much anymore either. So sad. I like Jeff Foxworthy's standup bit about if someone doesn't give you the wave, you should be allowed to get up under them and shove them into the wall. Good stuff.
  19. The Columbus Auto Show is in March.
  20. I'm in the same situation. I called the other day and got mine lowered a bit also. How much did they lower yours by?
