  1. I have Insight. I have no problems with their RR service. I hate their cable service. The HD DVR box sucks ass. It hangs/freezes often. The picture/sound cuts in/out at least once during every show that I watch.

I've had the box replaced a few times now. They can't find anything wrong with the signal coming in to the house. I'm working on getting things together to switch to either Directv or Dish (my only options).

  2. im sure it is better, but im with the people above...i couldnt see myself paying $100/mo or more for phone service. i need my phone to make calls, and sometimes send text messages. for unlimited text, 450 minutes, insurance, i pay $60.96/mo. even that i still feel like its too much

Who is your service provider? That's the exact same plan that I have and I'm paying $12 more per month than you are!

  3. I agree, It may be cheaper than before but its no where close to what other carrier's have. I have Verizon and my monthly bill is no bigger than $53.00. So when you pay the $99 for the voice and data you still have to pay for a text plan?

I have Verizon as well and my monthly bill is $72. I have 450 minutes, unlimited text and insurance. I know I'm being ripped off, but I don't think there's anything I can do about it.

My contract is up in May. I think I'm going to go to Wally World and check into their Straight Talk phones/plans. I saw a commercial last night where you get 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, 30MB data, for like $30 a month.

  4. My car has been put on the back burner due to remodeling my house. I spend more time in my house than I do in the car. It's where I eat, sleep, watch tv, etc. When I first got my car, I wanted to do H/C/I, exhaust, etc, but now, I'm at the point where I like being able to drive it during the spring, summer, and fall without having to worry about it breaking. I had it at a track once last year and I was scared the entire time that it was going to break. Where would I come up with the money to fix it? I think I'm not taking it to the track anymore until after I'm done working on the house and have money to throw at the car if something breaks. I'm just going to enjoy it as it is. My house has become more important.

I tried the bike thing for a year. I enjoyed the freedom, but was scared to death of other drivers. So, I gave up on the bike idea.

  5. Evidently, this guy has about 4 million sports cards. He's wanting to trade them for a car in the $16K - $18K range.

Think about it for a second. If you sold every card for .01, you would have $40,000. However, I bet there are quite a few cards that would be worth $5, $10, $15, if not more. So, let's say it averages out to .50 per card, that's $2 million.

You could easily bundle 100 cards, take a few pics, put those 100 cards on ebay and make $50 or so with each bundle.

    Would you do it?
