I agree. When you look at the feel of the Nexus S, it feels plastic and cheap, but then you look at the Galaxy II and it's a solid phone. From the rumors and teaser, I think it won't be a problem. The other thing that sucks about Samsung is TouchWiz, but we won't have to worry about that on a Nexus device.

Did you see the teaser video they released yesterday? I'm definitely getting it. I still think my old Nexus One is one of the best phones out there, and the Nexus S wasn't a worthy successor, but this one looks like it will be. It will be a dual core 1.5Ghz processor.

I wonder if that's where the phone is capped, or if they say 14mbps because that's how fast AT&T's HSDPA is. Other countries have theirs set to much higher (20, 30 40mbps). I also wonder if it would be able to run on HSPA+ (84mbps), like T-Mobile's network. After all, T-Mobile does carry the iphone in other countries like Germany. I'm guessing it can't...fail flagship phone.

Android has had it for a long time. I use the dictation feature quite often.

Hey, it has intelligent search now! So you can ask "Will my skinny jeans get wet today?" or "Can I ride my retro bicycle to the vinyl record store and not get wet" and it will launch the weather app.

This is always how it's been, especially when they go to the S model.

Wait until next week when Google announces the new Nexus phone that will be running on Icecream Sandwich (Android 4.0). Then you can make a fair comparison. 4.0 is suppose to give people the visual ooh and aahh that the iphone has, along with some other cool updates. It will have NFC (Google Wallet), and the one thing I'm very curious about is that rumors say it might have a facial recognition unlock screen based on some leaked files. It will be my next phone.

A relative of mine got one and it's a fantastic phone. I rooted it and installed a vanilla rom on it, I'd rock it.
