  1. Yeah it's too bad he didn't get more of his uncle's skills. speaking of, I wish Ayrton's movie would get released over here already
  2. I believe I still have my stock flywheel, still have my stock intercoolers, still have the stock turbo intake pipes. Check the auxiliary coolant pump, it sits underneath the intake manifold. Chances are it's leaking. When you replace it, get the factory relocation kit along with the new pump. Yes, the thermostat sits behind the timing belt. I have the cam lock tool for doing the timing belt if you need it.
  3. Yeah I don't know if he's going to finish the V10 swap. I have a stock RS4 clutch and it holds just fine, but I'm not about to do any launches with it. It holds up for some, doesn't hold up for others.
  4. I'll have to check that out to watch the boks pummel the kiwis I have the chrome tv plugin, that might be useful https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/lambangeielkjcnmioccboaphdfcffib
  5. Sucks. The new Lotus Renault car sounds promising. Looks like they could make Senna his replacement driver if he doesn't recover in time. Or maybe Heidfeld
  6. V10TT or bust http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/6880/43974021.jpg
  7. There is one on ebay right now, in Oregon. Not in perfect shape but do want. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-Audi-Ur-Quattro-Coupe-Turbo-urq-1-64-RARE-/230582884234?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item35afcf978a

  9. I just bought everything they told me to at the Mac store cause that's what's cool right now. I could have easily bought an equivalent or even better laptop for half the price but then all my bro's won't think I'm hip.
  10. What about the keys won't make it work? The keys don't have a chip in them. I do know that he would probably have to get an S4 gauge cluster that will need to be programmed to the ECU, which isn't a big deal, and it will have to be an ECU from an early S4 too. But yeah it's definitely not going to be an easy swap.
  11. CTS-V wasnt even around when my S4 was out, and like jones said, no AWD. As for being a big POS, well that's your opinion. The earlier models were great, if not the best, for doing what they were designed to do. No they weren't the most reliable things ever, but were capable of a lot more than most others. Now for the LR3's and newer range rover's they are built a shit ton better, even better at off roading and a shit ton nicer. You're also basing your opinion off of hear say. Anything that's an SUV with 4WD is in competition with Land Rover (mostly), but LR stands out for a reason. I don't buy shit just to buy shit, there is a reason for it. A car is a machine/tool and I want what I think is the best for what I'm looking for, at a price I can afford of course. Also in my family we've had almost every type of car from every country that makes cars (benefit of growing up in another country), so I take from experience as well. From Alfa, to Dodge, Ford, Opel, Mitsu, LR, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Cadillac, Renault...and out of all of those the American ones are the ones I dislike the most.
  12. Will someone here please put a VR6 into a B5 and take me for a ride in it, or at least let me listen to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw_AURaLT00&feature=related
  13. I never said anything about reliability. I was talking about quality. To me there is a big difference. Which is exactly why I own the vehicles that I do. What would the American compition be for my S4? Let's even say it was an A4. I'd be rocking a Cadillac Deville? Lincoln Towncar? Ford Taurus? All of which are quality vehicles, sought the world over, known for being innovative and class leading. Just over all quality vehicles. The LR3, what american competition does it have? A blazer? Tahoe? H3? Those are also all very nice, lovely cheap all plastic interiors, if you were lucky you probably got the plastic wood trim, very nice. Throw in the optional low quality leather seats and who would choose anything else? Plus those are also know for being masters of offroading. Modern cars are all for the most part equally reliable. But if you get a car that has more to it, more complex, of course it has more things that can possibly go wrong. You think the EGT sensors and turbos are going to go bad on a taurus? How about the ride height control on a blazer? You guys can go and defend American cars all you want, but the facts prove otherwise. The big 3 (now the big 2) was in trouble for a reason, for making shit, unattractive cars that most people don't want for way too long.
  14. Ok, some have made it into the late 90s but the body is still from the 60s
  15. They are usually cheaper to fix, but that's simply because they use technology from the 60s. Americans and the Japanese also save lots of money because they let the Germans to all the R&D.
  16. Ok new topic. American cars, neither American or cars... Discuss
  17. Of course, but mostly for the FUNK http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h175/PiMPMAN101/IMG_0257.jpg
  18. It won't, I know this out of experience. The Escalade's stability system will malfunction and gauge cluster will shut off causing it to flip over at an unknown speed, rpm, trans and water temp.
  19. Well it needs to be all or nothing. You can't break the chain. You also don't like Camaro's, not sure about PBR though.
  20. You don't want to do that
