  1. I've heard people say that they prefer BlackBerry email over android email. I dont think it sucks though. I use it and works perfectly fine for me. Based on him telling you to get a Palm, he's a moron.
  2. I thought that was Jay Z? I just heard "his" new song. He took Forever Young and said a couple of words over top of it, called it Young Forever. He's so talented
  3. It will allow you to overclock it, but it wont overclock it for you. You still need to download an overclocking app. Download SetCPU from the Market
  4. I dont think it will automatically download and install them, but they will be in your download history, you just have to manually click on them. Yes, you can still use Market.
  5. Android backs up all your contacts on google's servers. 2.1 automatically re-downloads all your apps. You will lose your text messages though, but if you are really concerned about them you can back them up with various apps in the market.
  6. No its not because of that. They just cant figure it out. http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-eris/35219-we-need-your-help-root-htc-droid-eris.html http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=617203
  7. It gives you root access. So you can flash custom roms, and do things that you arent able to do without root access, like overclocking and wifi tether etc. I dont think anyone has figured out how to root the Eris yet.
  8. Earth is now on the market...
  9. T-mobile = $80 unlimited everything, get yourself a nexus one for $179, problem solved.
  10. Cool...except I'm looking at the "H" at the top of my phone, who cares about 3G anymore?
  11. Not sure how people actually know how to push it with adb
  12. And some other goodies off 2.1 (earth is in under this link too) http://www.droid-life.com/p/downloads.html Its mostly for people with droids, but might be able to get it to work on pre2.0 android phones.
  13. http://rapidshare.com/files/354860188/com.google.earth.apk.zip.html MD5: F71E04EB99A936A7C7C4BA0720A4D39C Download it, put it on your sdcard, rename the file by taking off ".zip", click on it to install. I'm running it on Sense 2.1 on my Nexus, should work on vanilla android 2.0 and up.
  14. Yeah. I see more similarities between Facebook and Wave, and Buzz and Twitter though. Then you have Latitude which is like a combination of the two because you can only see people you are friends with, but you can see their location.

Depends on which one you go to i guess. Urban Active Powell is nice as hell. Doubt you will be able to find anything nicer than it.
  16. Andrew sounds like a guy's name, why would he want an iphone?
  17. Google doesnt believe in marketing, they believe in word of mouth.

Just noticed you're in Powell too. They might still have it going on, just look for a giant "$19.99" sign in the windows on the right of the building...i don't think its there anymore though, but it might be cause I go at night and don't look for it. Plus you can negotiate with them. I got a PT for $60/month, they started to sell me it for $120/month.
