  2. I hate people, and it doesn't surprise me it happened in Ohio.
  3. Why dont you just get the SS autochrome turbo back? http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1895 Its been a while since I've been there, but I see they raised the price by $125 and they now have one for the B6.

  6. I still have it, its my backup phone. I have Hero on there, I should check and see if theres a 2.1 Nexus rom for it. I also like it better than the Droid, especially the keyboard. You can keep flashing new version of android, but you will only be able to do that up to a certain point. So what it means is get a Nexus, the G1 looks like a turd compared to it.

  8. Well how many Toyotas are effected? I know its almost 500,000 Hondas. The links you posted: 10,000 A3's and TT's 300 GM's Less than 300 fords.
  9. If I dont make it out to mid ohio this year like I wanted to last year, I'm turning in my card.
  10. Yeah really, haha No but to me all cars have about the same reliability, atleast relatively. Probably not going to have expensive HID headlights to replace on a car with Halogens. But when its the basic stuff like accelerator, brakes and steering columns...I lol.
  11. I'm really enjoying all this. In your face people who go "Honda's and Toyota's are so reliable, they will last forever" Yeah, if airbags, steering columns, windows, brakes and accelerators aren't on your list of things you want in a car. You really think Honda Marysville is closed today because of the snow? My money is on fear of parts failure, rust and FWD.
  12. Not sure how it works for the Droid. But people had the update rooted for the nexus in a matter of minutes after they got ahold of the update url. I didnt have to unroot, I just had to install update.zip, and then flash the rooted boot.img to re-root. The update will automatically unroot the phone, but it needs to be modified to ignore the signatures, which someone kindly did.
  13. Hey I could be wrong, but looking at the specs on that one, and Sense being a resource hog on top of the added features in 2.1, I dunno...
  14. I just looked at it. You can see the cloverleaf but the map overtop is the new road, haha. Time to send the out the old satellite.
  15. I dont think that will make it over to the Eris officially. Will have to be a hack job.

  17. At this rate Nexus will get 2.6 before droid gets 2.1
  18. No. If you know the weakpoint, fix it before it breaks. It might cause a chain reaction, maybe not so much in your case but you never know. Trans failure--over rev--explode?
  19. Just got an update for Maps 4.0 last night and it has Buzz built in. Pretty interesting, kind of like a location based twitter. Its also part of Gmail. I'm not one for tweets, but it looks like google is going after twitter and facebook pretty good. Maps 4.0 has some other cool new features too under Google Labs, like the tape measure and the My Location button. http://www.google.com/buzz Available for Android and Iphone. Blackberry, Winmo, Nokia etc coming soon.
  20. Ha, sucks for that FD. I remember that episode of McGyver, classic!
