Negative. Its has to be over like 1800 fps I think? Handgun bullets wont work. I have had the ar not set one off but it was out at about 250 yards and I'm assuming the bullet dropped under the specified speed. Ended up shooting it at about 50 yards cuz I thought it was a dud and it went off.
