  1. Dealer car washes are the devil.

The one at Midwestern Auto Group ( Perimeter Loop ) is the worst one i have ever taken a car threw . It doesn't wash a car for shit , but then again maybe it is because you have to turn slightly to make it threw without damaging the car!

  2.

I need to find the Xenon headlights yet, the passenger side headlight is still in tact but 1 mount is broken so I may be looking for 2 headlights.

Let me know what prices you find on the headlights .... i got suppliers in A/M , Reman , Salvage , and O.E. that i get very good discounts with :) .

  3. Sigh... I put a stiffer wastegate spring in it. That isn't the problem. The problem is, you have to ground a wire going to the ECM to prevent it from shutting off the fuel under higher boost. The instructions told me to check for continuity between a terminal of the fuel pump relay and the ECM wire before I spliced and grounded it. Now, the instructions said to do it at the ECM. Me, being a total dumbass, thought it would be easier to do it at the relay. In the process, I broke a resistor inside the pump relay. The car ran up until this point. Now, I purchased a new fuel pump relay, plugged it in, but it won't run at all. I've got spark, it's CIS (so I can't really check for fuel) but I can't get it to run on ether either. The timing belt isn't broken, and I for the life of me can't figure it out.

Did you check the relay you tied into ? Could of fried it in the process.

  4. Hell yeah I did. the boost is so much quicker to come on. on the map I tweaked down the lower rpms just a little bit, If anyone has a stock bug eye and wants to comapre or even a upgraded one let me know.

The Throttle response improvement is great. and the extra boost helps you can actualy feel it pulling now instead of just kinda doings its thing when its ready to.

    +1

Much better than it was stock!

  5. Job stablity is a factor in many circumstances. I don't want to see someone who has jumped ship a dozen times. Too many of today's youth treat jobs as "disposable" an can leave you in a lurch at a moments notice.

I would only include relevant positions and emphasize achievements/promotions/etc.

How would you cover up the time in-between jobs ? Unless the jobs only lasted a week or two that you don't want to include. That would be a sign for me not to hire. I could just see the interview : " So i see you worked @ McDonalds From June of 2000 to July of 2002 , then you went to Walmart in June of 2004 ? " , " What was it you done from July of 2002 to June of 2004 ? " "Why didn't you include that job on here ? "

I would just be honest, especially if it is a good paying job and you know you are qualified to do.

  6. Gas is at 2.07. A shitty apartment near a shitty ass job that actually pays 5.15 is probably about 150 a month. If you are making 5.15 consistently, and have no chance/aspiration of getting a raise...you should not be driving. So don't even worry about gas, or car payments. Chances are you are retarded if that is the case also. Minimum wage is rare and even rarer for people who are capable of doing better. If you cannot do better but are capable, you are lazy my friend. And if you are not capable of holding a job over 5.15, you might want to remember where you live. It probably is at a care center for the MRDD.

Couldn't of said it any better myself :)

  7. with that many dents on the buick. Think they'll total it out? it's worth only 2k KBB. 186k miles. I was hoping to cash in, keep it and drive it as a beater. We'll see.

I'm taking it to Rife's Autobody in Westerville. Anyone have experience with them?

They do good work ( a little overpriced though ) ... Very picky when it comes to parts , always seen good work from there and their Grandview store... When you go up there ask for Gina or Paul...

  8. What does a dealership like Ricart do when this stuff happens? It's not like they can go PDR a couple thousand cars on a whim.

When i was at Infiniti a few years ago , we had over 200 cars damaged. Insurance came in and estimated all of them , then a Company from Minn. came in for dent repair ( they set up on the back lot , and kept going till they were done). What couldn't be fixed by PDR we sent to various body shops. More than likley they would discount most of the cars .....

My brand new car has dents all over it

That really sucks! Had it a lil over a week now ?!

Sorry to everyone else ..... luckily it didn't hit us at Toyota (morse & 270 ) ... at Infiniti it was pure hell dealing with all the chaos from all the damage!

  9. What could be stopping my relay from working? Cause I used a test light and I'm getting power to all my fuses but not to the back row of relays. (the circuit relay, the start relay and ignition main)

Still could be electrical. A testlight just shows that there is power there , question is do you have enough power !? Use a meter and make sure you have the correct amount of power to all your circuits.....

  10. Cool thanks! I appreciate it. I have seen these around but never really new what the "difference" was.

Do you know by how much higher top speed? I don't know if I am correct but the regular ones have a governor at 130, right?

The Lx has a speed limiter of 112 the Interceptors i believe are at the 135-150 range...... I need the reprogam mine...
