What would you do? I kinda want a 2007 because the 06's had some issues with frames cracking at the welds and snatchy FI problems. $5k is my absolute limit, but the cheaper the better. She Gone. :sad: Guy named Mark picked her up this morning. He is from dayton and will hopefully join up and do some Hocking rides with us this summer. I am sad to see her go and miss that thing already, but now its time to go bike shopping! The Vmax has gone to a good home.

Do you know anything personally about this bike? I have seen it but I'm not real interested in a salvage title bike at that price.

Just got off the phone with the dude, this is his story. He bought it from a mechanic who did some work on it and the owner never paid him (07 FZ1) I told him to call his BMV and see about getting me a title and I'd be interested. He said he would and is supposed to call me tomorrow. Of course, with a title, the price goes up. We'll see.

I know we've discussed this before, but I can't seem to find the thread. I found a bike I want to buy and its dirt cheap, but it doesn't have a title and it is in NC. If the dude can somehow prove that it isnt stolen, what hoops will I have to jump through to get it titled here? Any ideas?

Couldnt really tell ya. My dad bought it, used it to bring me beer once and got sick. Never used it again. It seemed pretty sturdy and I wouldnt hesitate to load it up and go cross country with it.
