There isnt a bike on this planet worth $20,000, and that red FZ had a whole winters worth of strange nut rubbins on it. That alone makes it not worth what they are asking. Especially when you can get one from a private owner for a better price and not pay the taxes. Nice color tho.

Haha, as much as I want one, I dont think it would be any more comfortable on long rides.

I rode Bens Vstrom and I do like it. Not really interested in the 650's. I rode a friends SV650 and was impressed with its handling, but that motor just doesnt have enough power.

Figures. That would have been a nice mount, but I cant find one in my price range. 5k is my limit. Had to pay off the Vmax.

Mine handles better than most cuz its lowered with Progressive bits and it doesnt leak a drop. Awesome bike actually, just uncomfortable for anything longer than an hour or two. See above. Also put drag bars on it and that was a big improvement for handling and body position. I know. It was time. No shit!! If that van causes me to have to ride a POS bike, I'm gonna be pissed.

Looking for an 06+ FZ1. Would also consider a DL1000 (vstrom) cuz they're damn comfy, an 03 SV1000 non S, FI FJR (it would have to be a damn cheap one) or another FI Liter bike with handlebars. Nice clean VFR is also on the list. (Love the V4's) Suggestions?

Good God man! what year Runner was it? I bought 2 good '94 Runners for less than that. I can get this one rebuilt for $1500 or buy a remanned for $1350 + installation. I'd hate to spend more to fix it than I paid for the whole van. Not sure what to do. I'll probably find someone to help me pull one at Pick-n-Pull.

Probably because they want $500 for one from a windstar and Taurus transmissions are plentiful.

Supposedly the same exact drivetrain brotha man. although all the junkyards say I cant use one from a Taurus, no one can tell me why. So, yeah, what did you end up doing?

OK, it looks like I have an AX4S trans. with a build code of L on the door sticker under TR. I have found that there were 2 different models of this transmission used that year and I need one that was built before 9/97 as my van was built in May of 97. What a PITA.
