I have a fat ass and no problems.

I have no idea about this place, is it close enough to civilization to have a show? Indy would still be great. Just a few hours from cbus, Chicago, St Louis etc..
I went to a WSB race there 3-4 years ago - great facility but not close to anything. The stands were completely empty and there was no real vendors area either. Kinda like indy in that it is extremely flat and a long track.
Laguna is a freakin' hole - have been to 3 races there and swore I'd never go back. The track itself is cool, but there are no facilities at all at the place. Single lane traffic getting in an out. I spent 4 hours trying to get out of my parking space so i could get in line to exit. Very few porta-shitters and limited food vendors as well. Sitting in dirt to watch the race. The place just sucks balls.
Did COTA last year for the MotoGP - great track and facility, but again. not many peeps there. It's kinda out in the boonies, too but not too bad. In downtown Austin, you had no idea a bike race was in town. Very few bikes around, nothing like Indy's blocked off streets or Monterrey's Cannery at all. The town needs to get behind the track and celebrate the event a bit.

I just did the opposite. I am jealous. So much beautiful scenery there.
Yeah but you'll pay for it.
Cost of living, especially houses, is hard to believe here. Shitbox homes go for $250K and decent homes are upwards of $400K for a 3 bedroom, 2,500 SF place.
Fuckin' unreal.

Hey, I will take you up on that soon. when did you get out here? Last we spoke you were in indy, I see you've been machining some cool stuff, if you ever want to expand your product line my SV is free for R&D, or better yet if you ever get to the point of needing another machinist talk to me!
Thanks man!
We moved in January but still have a home in Indy that we're trying to sell. Live in Glendale right now, but will buy a house in the hills as soon as ours sells.
My new shop is located off of Santa Fe in Englewood - you'll have to come down and check it out.

There are 3-4 members from OR in the Denver area - so no problems meeting up with peeps for rides.
What part of town are you going to live in?
ADVRider.com has a sectiuon for Colorado riders, see: http://advrider.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=28

Crap, weather is going to shit. Stupid weathermen.
It's ten days away - they have no clue at this point. Make the call 1-2 days before the departure date.

I'm a ginormous asshat, but I may be able to keep my asshatedness in check for a couple of days. So, I might be in.
I'll see what kinda rates I can get at some hotels and let ya know.
Still going, Casper?

127 kinda blows south of Lexinbgton to about Jamestown, KY. Loads of traffic, etc and not a great ride at all.
South of the dam that you ride across, it's good for a short while.
But from Jamestown, TN south to Crossville, it's 55 mph and crawling with cops. Be very careful in this area.
I've always stayed overnight in Chattanooga as it's a days ride from Indy. Then we just hit the interstate to B'ham.

One of the best things about being a Buckeyes fan is knowing how bad it pisses the haters off when they win.
Good thing it happens so rarely.
-
Suck it haters and doubters.
Indeed.
Congrats to the Chokers - didn't think they had it in them.
Still hate the shit outta OSU and their fans though

what excuse do you have for being a dick butt?
Why do I need an excuse? I've perfected the manly art of dick buttism. I'm vaguely surprised that an offshoot of dick buttism hasn't been named after me yet. But I digress...
I went to Upper Arlington High School back before you were born and had to put up with so many OSU (or the Arlington Annex as we referred to it) fans that it turned me against the place. Blind devotion to a school that didn't deserve it, I thought.
And then I went an graduated from OU and moved out of Ohio. People would often ask where I went to school and after replying "Ohio University" all I ever got back was "The Buckeyes?". Yeah. That's the place. Easier to agree with the ignoramus' than try to explain to them.
But ya wanna talk about shit athletics? Let's talk OU <ggg>.
I even enrolled at Ohio State and took one math class over a summer, transferring the credit to OU after I bombed Differential Equations there. OU accepted the credit and it was easier to OSU than OU. Does that, by definition, make me an OSU Alumni? Hope not.
Anyway, my hatred for them is no different than your love for them, just different points on the line.

Ok before "we" go further, I need to know if you're just trolling for shits and giggles and won't take anything I say personally, or if you're actually some butt hurt old man who hates sports or the buckeyes or people on your lawn or whatever else. So what's the deal? You trolling or you being a pissy old dick butt?
Although I don't like OSU, my butt feels fine and my lawn is far from perfect, so feel free to walk all over it. Don't care who wins really, just noting OSU's propensity for choking in any sport, any playoff game.
-
"We"?
What position do you play?
-
Losers gonna lose, chokers gonna choke, etc.
-
-
Ohio State will choke like they always do.

Welcome!
Great first bike choice, too. Glad to see a new rider starting out on that bike rather than running out and buying a new R1 as their first scoot.
You live in a perfect area to hone your riding skills while enjoying some fantastic countryside.
Have fun with it!
