  1. I think I'll leave my R6 the way it is for now...

But, I've got major plans for my NSR-120RR mini racer!

1st thing, getting custom fork springs made to handle the added weight up front

then going with a Kitaco 125cc SE Ultra kit

    An oil cooler

    larger oil pump

    Full floating front brake

    26 or 28mm carb

    new clutch

    maybe an alum swingarm

    some bling stuff...

I'd love to try to make an aluminum swingarm - always wanted to do something like that. Have all of the needed equipment; milling machines, lathes, welders, etc - just never had a bike that needed one.

If you'll buy the aluminum stock, I'll make it for you. Shouldn't cost too much at all.

Have any good pictures of the OEM swingarm that I can see?

You've not been to Europe lately, have you?

West Midlands, UK, two years ago...

Been all over Europe and can't really notice any difference in body types than what we have here. Granted, King's Island is gonna have a lot more fatties as that's where they probably tend to go. More of an economics thing than anything else.

  3. Try wearing a back protector - it'll fill up some of the space acrpss your shoudlers.

Or, get a Vanson jacket made. It'll run ya $700, but will fit perfectly and you'll have no issues with it. Not the most stylish looking jackets out there, but not too bad either.

I'm 6'1" and a svelte 250 lbs. - hard to find decent gear that fits both in length and girth. Gloves are a whole other issue - A* XXXL isn't big enough!

  4. 2:30 AM crash? Were they drunk?

The number of people bar hopping on Harleys around here is unreal. A couple of bars in town (Stone Mug, et al), are crammed full of bikers drinking and then blasting off on their HD's into the dark. I'm amazed that there aren't more deaths as a result of it.

Indy Police do nothing about it. But if you're on a sportbike doing 7 mph over the limit....

  5. I had one! It was red though.

Forks suck ass as do the brakes. The bike looks cool and is great for just crusing around town. Despite having 1000cc, they're slower than shit and underpowered. Always heard that a CBR1000 cam would liven them up, but I never wasted the cash to find out.

I did put in heavier fork springs and shock spring, that helped a bit.

I'll see if I can find any pics of it and post them.....
