Well, I am toying with the idea of building this one well and playing with it a lil bit and then selling it to buy a 600.. So we will see what becomes available and what all I can find when it comes time to start buying
the forks are gone... I'm gonna have to buy a whole set. and a triple tree(or fix the one i've got) and the race upper.. I will still have to buy the whole front end so I'm gonna make sure I do it right and get the good stuff. I'm not cutting any corners with this thing. I have a lot of research and alot of opinions to account for when I start looking for what i'm gonna buy. But I'm not even bothering to look right now cuz it will just piss me off that i wont have the money for at least another month
I would have bought a yamahaha if I could have found one at the good price. of course Honda will always be my first choice. I got the parts I got for a damn good price so I had to...
OOHHH you are being mean today!!!! The book is awesome... It's just cool as shit to read about the motorcycle gangs terrorizing the country in the 60s and about the clash between AMA back then and the outlaws. Some things haven't even changed in 40 some odd years. There's a lot of information but it's Hunter S. Thompson style so it's badass!!!
Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson truly is a book that every single rider should read! I'm half way through it and just wanted to share that it is phenominal!!
Yea the process will be the best part.. I am going to leave the motor alone for now. I am gonna focus on making sure i put a really good suspension set up on it.. The motor only had 4K miles on it and its very clean so I"m just gonna use that..
I just bought the parts yesterday.. the finished product is a long way off... and thank you Magley. I know it must be hard to imagine a girl is building her own bike but its true.. LOL
