It looks like most top end kits are around 400.00 for parts, I guess the only thing that would suck is if the clylinders are trashed, my understanding is that it is a mono block?

Never had tuna and would have stayed away from it had I not just read some of you guys like it. Tuna mre just doesn't sound like they should go together. But now I'll have to try it.

Not sure what a rebuild would be. A new motors 2100 so a rebuild would be less then that.

U can do the rxp motor swap in there and straight do work!

Well i have for sale my 98 Yamaha gp1200 bought it off of of Berto on here late last year. Wont start did a compression test and front cylinder showed 60 middle and back were 145. Will need a top end rebuild at least. other then that the ski is just amazing. ran great did 67 (gps verified)

1998 GP1200

- Rebuilt motor by previous owner, higher compression pistons, group k ported head, requires 93 octane.

- aftermarket ride plate

- Aftermarket water inlet grate

- have disconnected the oil pump and am running pre-mix, but it can be hooked back up if you want.

- Primer bulb installed in the factory choke location for perfect start ability

- In really good condition for its age. Has a few scuffs but the plastic is not faded.

- Yamaha factory cover.

- Nu Jet impeller

- Bonus, clear title.

-starter, battery and stator replaced brand new at beginning of 2012.

very light and easy to throw around.
