  1. PC response: It seems like the worst part to all of this is that 5thSFG actually has the time to seek out forums where this dealer is a sponsor and bash their brains out over something so stupid. Did Independent screw you...sure Should they offer you a sincere apology...yes But if this is your biggest problem in life, I would say you are in a pretty good place amigo. Move on with your life and go find another BMW to buy. The deal at Independent could not have been THAT good, anyway. Actual response: Just for the record, I use to work for BMW of North America, and it was cry-baby faggots like you that made the job unbearable. I'm sure if you haven't already contacted BMW of North America to complain, you are likely working on it. And just in case you need the number, 1-800-831-1117. Ask for Jarrod , he's also a cry-baby faggot. People like you give BMW owners a bad name. The sense of entitlement is mind numbing.
  2. I was disappointed to read this. I've got a '12 GTI, so I guess every time I get on it hard I'm just hearing bullshit.
  3. The wife and I train at Fit Club downtown. The owner is a great dude, and everyone there is friendly and motivates each other to do well. If I'm the last one working on the daily workout, I've got people shouting to keep with it and stay focused, etc. I'm very happy with my results so far and our choice in gym. I know you said you weren't interested in strictly CrossFit, but Fit Club has olympic lifting on Sundays, Running workouts, swimming workouts (outside of Fit Club, because they don't have a pool there) and is actually hosting their third annual Summer games this Sunday at Arch park. come check it out if you have the chance, you will see the camaraderie and positive attitude. Edit: P.S. - Fit club offers a free training session to see if they would be a good fit for what you are looking to achieve. It might be worth the hour of your time to see if they would be a good fit or not. Give them a call, 614-500-3883 as for Mitch, he's the owner.
  4. As irresponsible and dangerous as videos like that are, I love to watch them. I feel like I saw that video a long time ago. He's just now getting busted?
  5. Him? http://www.facebook.com/cortez.bradley1 If so, I wonder if he will put GSW on his timeline.
  6. Just an update, the shirts are done and I will be getting them over to Ben when we can work something out. The shirts look great. We hope everyone likes them.
  7. I will actually be printing the shirts, and think they should be done in a few weeks. We have some large orders that we have to put out first, but then we will get down to business on the OR shirts. I don't mind if some extras are added to the order, but that's up to Casper. I just need the orders to go to him so that he can give me a final count.
  8. I've got a few cans waiting for the rims on my GTI. Just need to get around to doing it. They look great on the Cadi. Good call.
  9. If anyone is interested I work with a lady who's husband does a one day CCW class. It is the same price as Casper's ($75). There is a chance it could be as low as $65 if we get enough people. $75 includes lunch and doughnuts if I remember correctly. You need eye and ear protection, you bring your pistola and 100 factory rounds. If we get a group of 7+, we can pick our own day and all rock the class together. PM me if you're interested. I think the wife and I will be taking the class on the 29th which is the last Sunday of the month. But I like the idea of taking the class with a group of OR members. I have a few people in my neighborhood who are also interested in taking a class. Edit: If we can get a group of 5 or more, the cost goes to $65 per person.
  10. I always was a fan of that gen of R1. Good choice
  11. I'm not entirely sure, I guess I could ask my neighbor. The fencing guy we had come out said we would want steel otherwise we would be replacing the frame every year or so if it were made of wood. My neighbor is a contractor, but I hate talking about work with him because he does it all day. I'll see if he can't give me a recommendation. Otherwise I think we might just bite the bullet and see if we can't work something out to get a garage.
  12. Anyone here do any steel fabrication? We are looking at having our property fenced off, and have a 20' parking pad in the rear where the garage used to be. We want to have a manual gate made of 6' privacy fencing stretch across the parking pad so we have a little bit of security until we can afford a full blown garage.I got a quote from a fencing company and it seemed a bit high. If anyone can help out, please shoot me a PM and we can go into the specifics. I can do the actual fencing myself, I just can fab a steel frame to hold the weight of the fencing. By the way, we're in downtown Columbus, so a local reference would be great but not necessary. Thanks, Goldie
  13. We've got 'em in our attic, so I need to open up the crawlspace and throw some live traps in there.
  14. If twiztedrabbit doesnt work out, I will be able to help you out. They are in Mansfield, but I will be heading up there next Friday and coming back down a few hours later. Not sure if you can wait that long but let me know.
  15. Welcome aboard Larry. I remember when I got my first bike and as long as it was above freezing I would ride. I would get to work on some days and when I stepped off the bike my legs and nether region would be so cold I thought my balls were hanging out.
  16. Entering the problems is a bit tricky but worked for me. http://www.wolframalpha.com/ My bad, Wolfram Alpha is just a problem solver, otherwise shadyone is right patrickjmt.com is where it's at.
  17. On Craigslist now. I'll go to $100 for an OR member because I just want this bitch gone.
  18. Bumping this because I want this rifle.
  19. Sorry for the delay gents. I just looked at the helmet and this is a size large Shoei RF-800 as it turns out with a manufacturers date of January 23rd 1999. So, yes, this helmet has some age but is in great shape. For those that are smarter than I and follow the life expectancy recommendation of a helmet I understand if you want to pass. For those that aren't as concerned, I have owned this helmet for several years and I wasn't too concerned about an old manufacturers date. As you can see in the pictures there is one very noticeable blemish from the previous owner letting the helmet hit their exhaust. Otherwise there are a few nicks here and there but nothing serious. Pics are below if anyone is still interested. Thanks, Drew
  20. The wife and I took our niece to see Toy Story 3 and when we got there she literally cried because it wasn't in 3D. I wanted to smack her in the head and tell her I'm 20 years older than you and I've never even seen a 3D movie, so stop your bitchin.
  21. I'll get my ass up and take a look. Stay tuned.
  22. I hardly ever wore this helmet, but I really enjoyed the fit. Even better than my Arai as a matter of fact. Anyway, I want to buy a new rifle so I'm looking to clear out some gear. Below is a pic I found online, I will shoot some pics of it later when I get a chance. Mine has a tinted blue shield and comes with the original Shoei helmet bag. I was thinking $150 for CL and $125 for OR members with the tinted shield and bag. Helmet is a size large. I'm downtown and would prefer the seller be in Columbus so I don't have to run to the post office, I work and go to school full-time so I am a little short on spare time. But whatever works out works out. PM me with questions Drew
  23. I was just looking at the requirements and it seems like some of them are a little sucky. You have to have taken the BRC within the past two years in order to be an instructor or else you have to take it again. So if you want to be an instructor this season, you need to get scheduled for the BRC NOW. I printed off an app for me and a buddy, I might just look into this a bit further.
  24. I was talking to my instructor when I took the course and he said working in the cold and rain, and hot sucks, but if you do a course more than 100 miles from your house (or maybe it was an hour? I forget, maybe Beemn can chime in on that), or something like that you get paid $800 for the weekend. He said he just does the classes to pay for his track days throughout the year. You have to be a licensed rider for four years or more. I definitely want to do it because it seems like fun and can pay pretty well. The instructor also said the state was basically begging for instructors, but that was like five years ago so maybe things have changed since then.
