  3. Ordered yesterday.....Should be here in time for the Niagara Falls ride next weekend
  4. You know how I know you're ghey
  5. This comin' from the guy who lives in Waynetucky?!? True story though......One of the girls in my daughter's class just became an aunt a week or two ago. Her sister is about 16
  6. That's funny......For my daughter's dates, I've always said me and a buddy are gonna do that scene from Bad Boys where Will & Martin are actin' like they just got out of prison to the daughter's date who just came to pick her up Fortunately for me......Sissy's got 2 older brothers who'd be more than willing to help dad put the fear of God into whoever she's going out with! Plus.....She tells me all the time that all the boys in her class are already afraid of me.....And she thinks that's supposed to be a bad thing to me!!
  7. She was more comfortable on the back of your scooter, than a full size bike?
  8. And BTW Chris......Speaking for myself....Don't feel like you've got to trade a bike you already like, or put yourself in debt, just to ride with us.
  9. Always hear good things about the Yamaha FJR 1300 too. Think EarAche has one, if you want some first person input. Sport tourer, more slanted toward the tour......... Minus the bags.........
  10. Here's the Viffer Chris......... With saddle bags....... And trunk........
  11. IIRC correctly Chris.....Michael loved his FZ1. In fact.....I think most of what I've ever heard about them was positive. If you're gonna look at other options besides the Beemer.......You might wanna check that Viffer we talked about earlier.....Honda VFR 800 "Interceptor". Hoblick has one if you wanna talk to someone you know, and I think he's said how much he likes it Also......Not to be a smart a$$, but you can pick up a later model 'Bird ('03) for a substantial discount over a 'Busa or 14 ($5-6,000 ballpark). You could get soft bags for it, like I've got, that easily come off when you don't need/want them, or get a pair of Givi's or some other hard bags.....but MotorCyclist once again just named it a "Smart Money Buy" in their June issue She's not the top dog anymore, but she's still fast enough that Nick was impressed by the 'ol girl last year on the Jim Beam ride, more of an upright position than a pure sportbike since it's technically a "sport tourer", and most importantly......It's a Honda!!
  12. Nice lookin' SV Lost! You guys might've just sold me on that RT bag......'Specially since people keep askin' what I want for my bDay!! She stay on there good....No problems with it movin/slidin around on 'ya? Been in triple digits with it?
  13. Congrats Adam! Always thought she looked sharp after you brought her back from that crash last year All you need now is a gold chain
  14. Sorry guys, but I can't concentrate on anything Danielle posts in anymore 'cause of that beauuuutiful avatar!!! Can't read the small print though.....And Lord knows I got my face right up to the screen!
  15. Even before I saw your picture of it ;)

    Here 'ya go though.....

"Weightlifting, also called Olympic weightlifting or Olympic-style weightlifting, is a sport in which participants attempt a maximum weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates. The two lifts currently competed are the clean and jerk and the snatch. The compound word "weightlifting" is also often used to refer to weight training. Clean and press was another weightlifting technique, discontinued due to difficulties in judging proper form. In comparison with powerlifting which tests limit strength (with or without lifting aids), weightlifting tests ballistic limits (explosive strength) with smaller weights such that the lifts must be executed more quickly and with more mobility because of a greater range of motion during the lifts. While there are relatively few competitive Olympic lifters, the lifts and their components are commonly used by elite athletes to train for explosive and functional strength"

  16. Ummm....yeeahh.... You're a "rider" now...."Drivers" are for cages
  17. Welcome prospective Brew Crewer! Must pass intensive "interview" ;)

  20. Thanx everybody (except for you fu@kers who really thought this was my 40th.... I've still got several years before I hit that depressing milestone )!! Anyways.... Sorry I couldn't respond before now, but we had the carpet stretched and cleaned today, and it's still too damp to start bringin furniture out, so the computer, modem, and router are still buried in the kitchen. After trying, and losing, this reply several times on my son's laptop and low battery, with some neighbor's "borrowed" wifi signal.... I just decided to peck it out with my blackberry instead Anyways.... Thanx again, and hopefully tomorrow will have me back to online normalacy so I can reply better
  21. Happy Birthday my fellow "twin" & inspirational beacon of light to some!!
