I'm digging this picture!

I'm a complete newb. I need to go out with someone that knows what they are doing for a couple hours and show me some basic stuff. First pic is completely on manual settings for the first time this past weekend, following two were on auto settings from shortly after I got my camera.

What are L lenses?

So I'm heading to Yosemite on July 8th. I was thinking about renting another lens for my Canon T3i. I have no idea what would be a good one or where to get one. I currently have a 18-55 and a 55-250. Thinking something wide angle but I truly have no idea what would be best for the trip. Any tips, thoughts, or good shops you can give?

Its custard. It took Dayna over a year to get me to eat it because I thought it was like custard pie... which I dont like haha. Now its the only Ice cream I eat. I get the fish bait in a adult size haha. Vanilla custard, Cookie dough pieces, and gummie worms on top, I give the worms to Sasquatch to munch on. Hell yeah I do! Dad used to take me in there to get a VHS and Ice cream all the time!
