  8. The only thing that I've done to reduce the handling is the locker, shocks and springs are next when I can make up my mind and they are going to be for handling not DR.
  9. Well I'll find out tonight when I get the car up and running if I think that it is even capable of corning the cone this year. I think it's going to be more drift happy but I think I still want to give it a try.
  10. Is the test and tune sort of like the fun event last year?
  11. That is what I was debating for the longest time, which to go with and I was on LS1tech and called Exotic Performance and they said that they have not had any issue or complaints about it flexing. Either way it's to late now, I guess I'll see.
  12. yeah, 3.50 automotive gears, detroit locker, 35 spline with an aluminum casing. It spins SMOOTH!!! I've been warned about the break in.
  13. Then I came home to fine what showed up in the mail today.... http://inlinethumb45.webshots.com/12908/2726332020084904615S600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb26.webshots.com/44121/2801388220084904615S600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb60.webshots.com/11899/2209536650084904615S600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb60.webshots.com/507/2521216050084904615S600x600Q85.jpg

  15. I pulled to 10 bolt out today and tore it apart to get the backing plates off to use with the 9" and found that this one as well had stripped the pinion gear. http://inlinethumb25.webshots.com/42584/2631103440084904615S600x600Q85.jpg
  16. What's the towing rate on one of those, just curious.
  17. What do you know I was in Pittsburgh last night with Scott picking up parts.
  18. Mine from the factory had 3.42's, just entering fourth at the end of the quarter, swapped them for 3.73 and took a while to get the same et, not far off but still slower and I was midway through fourth. I have plans to turbo it in the future and I do not want to be shifting into fifth gear before the traps.
  19. On the Fiero I have finished installing the six-speed (just have to put the interior back togther), including new clutch, slave cylinder, shifter cables, aligned the car, replaced all the coolant hosed as well as flushed the coolant, all new e-brake cables. I stripped the engine cradle and control arms of all the rust, primed and painted it all and put in poly bushings inthe tie rods, control arms and cradle bushings. I replaced the rear ball joints and added poly bushings to them as well. I fabed up the trans mounts with poly bushings as well. I also put in two new engine mounts and have a brake booster to install. On the R1 I changed the oil and removed some decals. On the TA, I just finished ordering all the parts for the rear end and started tearing into it on Wednesday. I am replacing the entire rear housing, with welded on LCA relocation brackeds and sway bar mounts, M9 Ford 9", 35 spline axles, detroit locker, 3.50 gears, aluminum 3rd member, BMR extremem sway bar, panhard relocation rod, adjustable torque arm, transmission cross member relocation bar and a 3.5 aluminum DS with 1350 u-joints and new trans yoke. P.S. I also bought a towing rig to drive while I have my toys apart.
  20. Including cleaning the rear window P.S. I saw it again this morning...I just drove by this time.
  21. That sucks but I don't think there is anything that you can do.
  22. Does it matter if it is a steel or aluminum drive shaft. I have a cross member, torque arm and most likely a drive shaft as well. PM me a price.
  23. The Pavilions are popular with the A/C adaptor on the motherboard needing replaced. I had to wedge mine for a while then got it replaced a few years ago and now I have it apart again for the same issue, this time I'm replacing it and just bought the part for $5 on ebay. GL with the sale.
