When I had my TA weighed last summer it weighed in 3440.

So what 9" third member set up should I order guys? I plan on buying it in the next two weeks. I was originally going to go with an nodular iron, 3.70 gears and a locker. I'm now thinking more about going with the aluminum center section with 3.50 to go back closer to the original gear ratio. I've been reading on LS1Tech and there hasn't been any complaints about the aluminum warping from abuse. Any suggestions.

It was built to be light and for handling, what did you expect? I took Doc's out earlier this year on some back roads that were curvey and I could not be more impressed with the car. It was impossible to break the rear loose on corners, it sticks to the road, but that's just my 2 cents. I'd get one.

Why the LLY if I may ask, since I just got one two months ago, and love it. Like everyone else, the dodge is made cheap but the cummins is awesome and the Ford would last you longer. At the shop we had an Excursion and I thought that it's interior was far better than any Dodge. It's personal preferrence. I went with a Chevy because I'm a Chevy guy but I though that it was the best of all three and I don't have one complaint about it.

I think that it looks more clean with it and like it but my question is, his is not a 4 door jetta so did he swap to the GLI, just to go back to a GTI front end?

Make sure you lubricate the bushings. I just put all new poly bushings (Enging cradle, control arms, ball joints and tie rods) in the Fiero and did not lube them and now it squeaks with the slightest movement in suspension. I just have to go back with a needle to fix it.

Is it that slow at work that they just let you take you own engine out to play with?
