They actually called me back because they wanted to look the truck over and detail it before they give it to me and they said that they need to replace the cat and have ordered one, free of charge to me but the Check Engine light was not on. Looks like someone is trying to get some warranty work. I have the EFI live, just need to get another vin license.

It also has an after market secondary gas tank in the bed of the truck under the soft cover. From the manual I guess that it auto fills your tank with it's own fuel pump. Anyone familiar with one of these? I've never seen or even heard of one.

Hey guys, picked up a new truck today, will post pictures tomorrow when they deliver it. I snagged it up at Bobby Layman down in Lancaster by change we went by on Sunday when they were closed and it was traded in on Saturday after they closed. I called them Monday morning and bought it this morning. It's an 2005 Silverado 2500HD LT crew cab, short bed, and it is loaded to the gills. It's dark blue with tan leather, all power options, dual heated power seats, power lumbar, touch screen nav, factory DVD with bose speaker system, 6.6L turbo, 4x4, tinted window and rhino linar.

I think the original two trucks are out and I'm going to wait until I find exactly what I want. It's going to be an 01+, 2500HD, Duramax with the auto, Crew Cab, 4x4, black or blue exterior with either black or grey interior, power mirror, locks, window, no vinal seats and carpeting. 15K -20K range.GMC 2500

ND2RACE and I went and looked at the 02, and realized why there were no picts on their site. I was pretty beat up, and it looks like it was used for snow plowing with the front lower plastics cut out for access to the frame rails.

Looks like I'll be searching some lots after work tonight and either going back in the morning or making some calls either Larry Stingers or Performance GMC trucks. They look like they have a good selection.

I found this one at Richart, not to bad, maybe they could come down just a bit. Great looking truck and low miles. 2500HD

It's a four horse trailer but she only takes one, and it's all aluminium except for the frame. I think that it's in the 6K-7K range, but not sure. We pull it with an 01 2500HD with the 6.0L in it and it pulls fine.

Just a hitch, it's a tow behind, not a 5th wheel.

Too much, I'm looking for a Duramax, 2500HD, four door, 4x4, short bed, from about 2001 -2004. Looking in about the 15K range.

I believe that you were the one the mentioned in another thread about not buying newer that 04 because of the turbo back exhaust regulation. Did I recall that correctly? Yeah, I'll be using it to tow the car to rentals and to tow a my gf horse trailor to her shows. That's why I was thinking th 02.

03 6-speed 02 auto I really like the black but I wasn't sure about the 6-speed. The milage doesn't bother me much because of it being a diesel. Which would you guys chose?

Both are short bed, four door, and I already have EFI Live for the TA so the programming is covered.

I'm thinking about buying a new truck, looking for a Chevy/GMC 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.6L. I've got two in mind one but one is an 03, Black with grey leather, 6-speed manual and 126K miles. The second is an 02, red with grey cloth, auto and 78K miles. My question is, how reliable is the 6-speed manual, I've only heard cons about getting one with the Allison trany but nothing about the 6-speed. They are asking the same price for both, what are they worth in today's market? Thanks guys.
