I was running Mobile 1 syn when it was my dialy but now I've been running Royal Purple.

I am going to replace my lifters in the 2000 Trans Am because there is a ticking noise in the engine upon start up which I believe is a lifter that quites after it oils up. It will make then noise after only leaving the car off for 5 minutes. Does anyone have any suggestions on which lifters to go with or which not to use. The engine is stock with a mild cam in it with 918 springs and hardened push rods.

I have two for the trans am that were replaced by the dealer a year before I swapped the headers. Would they be worth selling used, or just recycle them?

I thought about these, they need to make an electric one that you would hook up to the ignition wire so that it would came out when you car is on and tuck away when you shut it off.

I think our cars along with some others just don't look right with a plate on the front.

Where is it located?

According to Uhauls site, my dads 97 F-150 4.6L 4x4 isn't strong enough to pull the Trans Am, but I disagree with that. As far as the Amigo, I wouldn't consider it.

I got the rear end back together and it's sound better than the last one, but now there is a rattle in the valve train. I'm thinking that I need to replace the lifters. I've replaced the springs and push rods here recently and the rattling goes away after a little driving. I'm thinking that it is a lifter that collapses and then oils up after the engine is running.

I just got the car back up and running, only to be torn apart again. The rear end is fixed for now but now there is a ticking in the engine that I need to address. I was the opposite, I went to bed early that night and slept in late, I was exhausted.

I use Compustar, their made by Firsttech. I bought the Canadian Version from ebay, they have longer distances and more features. I also have a dealers programmer for it so I can program the Auxilaries to the system.

I have a two way, it's awsome. Are you going to do it yourself? Any brands in mind?
