  1. scary thing is you have one i could borrow don't you?
  2. agreed that the chili is best around a week old...if properly stored...frozen chili is good for months!
  3. Lets see here - I'm in the Machine Gunner in the Marine reserve unit here in Columbus, I work at Columbus Scooter and Cycle when there is business (spring-fall), at B-dubs on campus as a server, and a full time student at OSU.
  4. yeah, they are at my parents house right now and i'm in chicago til after new years...if you want a general pic just search for teknic speedstars in google...but i get some pics up when i get back!
  5. lol...my phone is fine and i live down the street
  6. The 204 pc does not have spark plug sockets or extensions for all of the ratchets, and dont forget i work on my jeep too, hence the reason for the bigger sockets like the 21mm which i have used on the jeep and the deep wells are used a lot more on the jeep than the short. Hmmm, i would keep both but i dont have the money to do that.
  7. i rode the other day to work...no choice really...and when i got off work later than expected, there was freezing rain...that sucked hardcore
  8. oh yeah...both of them are craftsman, i wont buy any other tool
  9. I just bought a 204pc mechanics set to replace the 168pc mechanics set i have. The problem is i compared the two side by side and the 204pc set is missing a few things that might be too useful to ignore. The 168 pc set has two spark plug sockets, more combo wrenches, a longer 3/8ths socket wrench, 3" extensions for all three socket wrenches, bigger sockets (i.e. 21mm over a 19mm max) and more 3/8ths deep well sockets. Benefits to the 204pc set; the case actually holds all of the tools in a more compact area, it has a lot more 1/4" deep well sockets, more allen wrenches, and more smaller 1/4" sockets. Anyone have an opinion about if differences matter?
  10. about a 9-9 1/2 (says the official conversion) but i usually wear a ten
  11. wow this is a good idea...I have always liked directTV but i need to get a cable service considering i can't use a satellite in my apartment...
  12. First off i think your dad needs to drive it more! How much do you think he could get for it?
  13. i wish i could come but I will be in Chicago with family til close to the new years
  14. i no has da monez to bis a TRUK ... too bad for me
  15. Ah...that makes sense, they seemed to be doing well enough, but with no one buying cars i guess anything sold is better than nothing.
  16. I'm selling my pair of Teknic Speedstar boots black size 42 and a 168pc. Craftsman Mechanics tool kit. The boots are great and i loved them but i bought a pair of oxtars and have no use for a second pair of boots. They performed very well and were very comfortable. Here is some info on them: Product Features: Boot Type: Full competition racing boot with 15 degree forward racing slant. Unique features: Kangaroo outershell. Carbon / Kevlar foot brace system. Racing ultra-thin sole. Ultra light-weight construction. Sole: Ultra thin competition sole. Carbon / Kevlar foot brace system, with lace system. Stretch Kevlar footbridge. Oiled cowhide toe section. Replaceable toe sliders. Ski-type buckle calf adjustment. Nylon shin plate and heel cup. Twin zipper access system. Nylon reinforced toe shifter plates. Looking for $100 for them As for the tools, the only reason i'm selling them is I bought a bigger set. The set comes with a hard plastic case and has standard and metric short and deep well sockets in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch drives with the socket wrenches. It also comes with combo wrenches and hex keys, again metric and standard. These are Craftsman tools and if they ever break take them back to Sears and get a new one no questions asked. Honestly there are a few pieces missing but nothing that can't be bought individually for a few bucks. (i dont have the kit in front of me so i will update this with the specific parts) Looking for $90
  17. Trader Buds is going out of business and if you go buy a 08 Dodge Ram you get a dodge caliber for a dollar. I called them to see if it was BS and it's not. You buy any 08 Ram and you get a Caliber SE for a dollar. I'm sure you can talk them into a more expensive Caliber but if anyone wants a truck here's your chance. My thought is to buy the truck and drive the caliber from the dealership straight to a Carmax and sell my car as well. That way a 38,000 truck turns into a 17,000 or less truck.
  18. I hate all of you...j/k...The Marines gave me absolutely nothing as far as bonuses and benefits, and i got a 99 on the ASVAB. This is because the Army steals all of our funding and equipment. Funny how we still do the same job better. Have fun in the National Guard, as for an MOS I am a machine gunner but you should obviously go with something different such as choppers or vehicles.
  19. I have a pair that you won't like (since they are full size) for sale if all else fails, size 42 teknic speedstars. They are great and very comfortable. If you change your mind about having a full boot let me know.
