If I'm commuting or riding alone for any decent amount of time I almost always listen to music. But on group rides I don't because it takes too long to turn the music down if someone is trying to talk to me at a stoplight/stop sign. Most cars are too quiet to hear over a bike anyway and you should be checking your mirrors and staying alert rather than using sound to figure out whats going on around you.

The best concert I've ever been to was Three Days Grace, Seether and Breaking Benjamin at the Erie civic center. Some other really good ones: Shinedown and Saliva at the House of Blues Shinedown/Chevelle/Sevendust a few weeks ago Three Days Grace/Chevelle in 03 Linkin Park/Korn/Snoop Dogg at the first Projekt Revolution Metallica at the Q last year Journey at the Schott Worst: Crue Fest in 09 (Especially Godsmack, which was really disappointing) Any Warped Tour

164 is full of debris and shit every time I ride it. It's not a bad road but I'm personally not a huge fan. 151 and 646 are better and not that much further than 164.

Yeah 9 was great. I ran that from the intersection of 164 up through Carrollton.

Just got back from riding down that way. Took 212 to 164 to 43 to 39 to 542 then back to 43. Craig was right about 542 being chip and seal but it's fresh so it wasn't bad. 164 has some rough pavement but I only saw gravel in 1 spot so that should be good for you guys
