    Hi!

Welcome!! You will gain a lot from the MSF course, it's definitely worth it.
  7. That sucks! Best of luck in reducing the $$$fine! Anyone know if the air cops stick to the interstates or do they frequently monitor state routes too?
  8. Welcome!! I work at OSUMC and usually ride in on nice days. I'll probably see you around...
  9. Decent bike for an unbeatable price. Let me know when your ready to hit some of these country roads out my way.

  11. Welcome to Ohio! Where in Jersey did you call home? I used to call Mercer Co. home, some years back.
  12. This would totally piss me off!! This will get a whole lot worse if you get back at him at his level. Find a way to mess his little world up without having anything to do with it. Watch King's "Needfull Things". My point is if you only had someone else you didn't like you could "borrow" something and "loan" something else, without actually "doing" it. This guy sounds like a neighbor from hell. Shit like that is why I moved out to the country.

    Ride 6/15/08

I wish I could have stuck around to finish the ride!! Can't wait for the next one. I'd have to bring a spare pair of shorts just in case one of those cute and fuzzies attempt to climb aboard at 75mph!!! WTF! I'm glad you guys are okay.
  14. Thanks Aaron, now when are you ready for the dirt?

    Ride 6/15/08

I'll stop by and meet you guys and ride some. I've got some prior commitments that will pull me away by noon.
  16. Hey all, It's taken a month to get around to my intro, so better late than never!! I've been on and off bikes for 12 years more off road experience than on, but now it seems I've got a passion for the asphalt. I gave up riding to start a family and now the kids are old enough for me to get out and play again. I am currently piloting an almost stock sv1000s, mods are in the works. I'm looking forward to joining up on some group rides and seeing how good this bike takes the corners. I live just north of Polaris so if anyone rides out this way offer up an invite.... thanks Brian

  18. I gave up the dirt 8 years ago when I sold my rm 250. Your about my size when I started out on a 250. It was too big at first but eventually I got used to it. There are many pros and cons to either 2 or 4 stroke. If your just looking for trail riding a 4 stroke is something you can start up ride around and park it. A 2 stroke needs more attention after every ride or every other at most. Beware of the older 4 strokes that do not have a "hot start" option. You will be miserable trying to start it back up if you stall it. If you end getting one, after you fix your more urgent need(job), I still have all my gear and all the dust it has collected all these years up for grabs. I need a new riding jacket!
