  1. No skilled hands at my house. I may be able to stitch a seam closed but a zipper, I don't think so.
  2. -Thanks. I wanted to find a place that someone was happy with the work done. I imagine you did or you wouldn't be recommending it. Thanks for the info jagr! I'll call for quotes.
  3. Can anyone recommend a reputable place to have a zipper replaced? Type: Joe Rocket Ballistic with a busted crotch zipper. Unfortunately there is no funny story to attach just worn out. -I have a no safety pin rule so those suggestions will be dismissed promptly- No sharp points by the tender parts.
  4. I'm trawling CL daily. A DR would be okay it was my first bike.
  5. This one would be a nice pick. There was one on EBAY last week that was tempting me.
  6. A friend stopped over Saturday with his KX250 and I got to rip it around the property. It was a freaking blast. It was my first time back in the saddle of a 2 stroke since 2000 when I sold my RM250. I was surprised how nothing was lost due to time. I still have it! And now I want some more of it. I'm not giving up the SV, though I may be looking to make my garage a little bit smaller.
  7. It will be for both of them. They stand 4ft with about 24 in. inseam (on balls of feet). A 50cc is probably too small for them and the TTR125 is most likely too big. I'm looking for something in between for under $1000.
  8. Sorry to hear about the crash but happy to hear you are okay!
  9. Sad day. Sorry to hear this. RIP
  10. Something amazing happened the other night. The 9 year olds came up to me and asked for a dirtbike. I've been waiting a long time for this day . (I'm getting the "I want to be like you dad" feeling) I figured I would send a feeler out to see if anyone has one that their kids have grown out of. I am not ready to drop a bunch of cash on a new one until I know that they "really" want it, but I still want something decent that will last a few seasons. Thanks
  11. My wife was a passenger last year and was not comfortable with the notion that if we went down, we both go down. And suffer the children.... In April she passed her test and rides along with me. The logic is there is less of a chance of both of us being taken out for a period of time(not that either of us are reckless in any way, but from the actions of cagers). She knows that this is in my blood and I do not plan to give it up, ---also I think a part of her wanted to join the mc club. The danger is out there and will never really go away but focusing on what may or may not happen will drive you nuts. Go and enjoy the ride!
  12. Hope everything will be okay. NSAIDs can take the edge off, for now.
  13. Be strong Jess and Heal up quick Kori...
  14. Keep your dollars this one is free. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/80626208/

    blah

Make sure you get to Geno's on S 9th street for your cheesesteak. I've got dibs on your leftovers, mmmmm.
  16. Damn Jess! You will have a great conversation piece in Datona though, you may have to work on the story a bit;) Heal up and enjoy Daytona!!
  17. Welcome to the new nostalgic throwback trend, it's working. I can't wait for this one to come out. Next will be Transformers 2!
  18. Back in March -Friday 8am to Sunday 10am. (Insert 2 hour nap Saturday from 9 to 11am). Lifeline Of Ohio was running a 3 for one special for organs. I had 3 donors come in at different times on my on-call weekend, 8 hours of testing each. When I finally went to sleep Sunday I could not maintain body temp and had head to toe body aches. Lack of sleep has some wicked side effects. Suck factor of 10.
  19. I agree. You make a commitment that should last for the life of the pet. Some dogs do not adjust well to change but you find what works so that all can live harmonioulsy.
  20. I seen this one at World Market and bought it today. I had to buy it after I read the label. The bastard is mine tomorrow night. Have you had it before???
  21. R.I.P. Such sad news. I didn't get to meet her but it sounds like she had great compassion for others. My condolences to her family.
  22. Great topic. My other passion, beer. #1 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale #2 Sam Adam's Honey Porter #3 Barleywine, served cool not cold. and my own homebrews. Last Fall I brewed a 7% Belgian Strong Ale. mmmmm.....
