  1. I've got it on my calendar, and fwiw, as long as the shop/artist/tools are clean, and I don't have to pay for it alone, I'd be down for the tat... All part of representin' for Cincy...
  2. Refund... $4200/Fed, $400/State. Got a new mattress, and goin' on vacation. Woo-Hoo!

    Trip to DC

DC really is a different city from a motorcycle... My folks live near there, and I took my bike down on vacation last summer. The wife and I did a Patriot Guard mission at Arlington National Cemetery while we were there. Awesome experience! I hope to ride down there this year if I can get the time and funds together at the same time.

    Thursday 4/16

I'm off around 5:00-5:30, work in Sharonville, where's everybody meeting up?
  7. Definitely take the cold weather gear... It gets cold quick in the mountains. Highs in the 60s means 50's when you're up high and in the shade. I'm still jealous btw.
  8. Looks like the only time the temp @ Va Beach is going to get out of the 50's, it'll be raining. At least that's what the Weather.com 10 day forecast looks like. I think you'll be headed South.
  9. Good product, crappy trigger thingy on top... I've bought several bottles of that over the years, and every one of them ends up broken by the third use.
  10. Went to the same inspection station for my car a couple of years ago. It really is a piece of cake as long as you follow the procedure, and don't buy any "suspect" parts. Congrats on getting legal!
  11. There's nothing better than riding in to work and having your co-workers look at you in all you riding gear and say "Dude... You're retarded, it's 22* out there!" LOL! Tell me more about these endurance rides... My interest is piqued.
  12. I ride all year... I just bought this bike in January, and I've got at least 1500 miles on it since purchase. I've found my personal low for temps is 19*F. If it gets colder than that, I'll take the cage.

    Kenny's Funeral

I'm in for the ride tomorrow morning. I'll be riding up from Cincinnati though, so if anyone wants to ride with me, shoot me a PM.
  14. I've got dark tint on mine, I've still got the clear one, and always had the intention of swapping out the tint for the clear one if I ever got caught out riding at night, but night rides were so infrequent, and carrying a loose shield was a PITA. I'll still grab the clear one if I know I'll be out past dark, but otherwise I just make sure I've got my clear safety glasses with me so I can raise it up to see better.
  15. That SV1k is sharp! I like it a lot!

    March 7 ride

Looks like I'm gonna have to miss this one, I am gonna ride tomorrow, though. I'm riding up 48 to Springfield to get my taxes finished up.

    March 7 ride

Where are you meeting up? I'm planning on going out on Saturday, it'd be good to meet up with some local people to ride with.
  18. Rode to work today, and took it out for lunch this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to the ride home tonight, should be even warmer than it is now.
  19. My fault guys... Noob mistake not checking the date. It is supposed to be warm later this week though... I'm planning on going out, it'd be nice to have a place to go.
  20. I'll probably be riding to work the rest of the week... Might be up for a ride this weekend too if the wife will turn me loose.
  21. If she's on the title, she'll either have to be there, or you'll need the Power of Attorney form. The only way out of that is if the title reads John Smith OR Jane Smith. If it reads John Smith and Jane Smith as owners, you both have to sign before a notary for the signatures to be legal, and for the title bureau to accept the transfer of ownership, unless you have a notarized PoA with her signature on it.
  22. I looked into this a while ago... If it is an even trade, then you both will write "0" in the sale price space. This will be made SO much easier if you're both at the title office together, there won't be nearly so many questions. There should be no taxes assessed as there was no money changing hands. I'm pretty sure there will be a title fee (I think $35) but that's really about it. The registration will work just like any other transfer. It's like $15 or $25 to transfer the registration from your old truck to your new one. As for the notary thing, the title bureau has a Power of Attorney form that you can have her sign that will allow you to do the trade in her absence. I think the POA form needs to be notorized too though. If you can get your hands on a POA form, go to the bank with your wife and get it notorized there, then you can do your deal whenever is convenient.
  23. I got about 5000 from purchase to sale. Bought my SV650 in April with around 27k, and sold it yesterday with 32k for $300 more than I paid. Now I'm looking for this year's ride.
  24. Hamilton Twp. Between Morrow and Maineville. Work in Sharonville. There are a few pretty nice roads up this way, but since I mostly commute on my bike, the only ones I've gotten to explore and enjoy really are the ones between here and work.
  25. The last 4 minutes sucked. Damn it.
