I have a full time job in the spring/summer/fall....then in the winter its only like 1/4 time plus powdercoating is a "hobby" to me. Not looking to get rich off of it. plus who in their right mind tears down their bike and wants stuff powdercoated in the middle of the summer??? save that for when your bored out of your mind in the winter and can't ride it anyway!!!

To do frames ya gotta have a sliding track (like barn door track) and attached the frame to it and slide it in and out of the oven for the second coat. that frame I have a picture of that I did, it didn't turn out as good as I would have liked. It was good enough for a ATV but I wouldn't want a motorcycle frame turning out like it did. sounds like a Bud Light Real Men of Genius commercial

I avoid rain. only been in it twice this year, got caught once and the other time it was in February and I was itching to ride and it was warm. PITA to clean up though.

The one we used to have, he would toss the packages out the truck and spin out of the drive way i kid ye not. The ups man we have now is a lil' smarter, he has doggy biscuits....but if he don't have them on him he has to run. Something about that brown truck my dog don't like---i have a feeling one of the ups guys kicked him once. Now the mail lady, when she pulls in the drive way to deliver a large package, she gives him dog biscuits lol he don't even bark at her he just stands there waiting till she tosses them out Oh yea and he HATES bicycles, he actually got hit once on the road chasing one.....lucky he's still alive

word. and sonofabitch i just got fucked at 75/70....was cruising along @ 70mph in the truck and get off on the exit to 70.....a SHP was sitting just past the exit and he flips his lights on and comes after me......I was like WTF until I remebered it was a construction zone....There wasn't anyone out working as far as I could see though. soooo got a 70mph in 55...he was cool though, def. the nicest cop I've got a ticket from. He didn't mark the ticket that it was a construction zone and that it was my third moving violation in a year. Points do suck though, that makes 8 or 10 points now 13 over......I've got 2 speeding tix, and BOTH were 13 over :broke:both in the truck. the rest were BS tickets on the bike from dickhead smalltown cops.

what the heck heres another doggy picture jack russel/fox terrier mix.....only one I've ever seen that is calm, he's amazing....most dogs jump all over ya and yap and what not......he's about 10 years old now but he's always been pretty laid back--cept for when the UPS man comes dang i'm gonna miss him

But seriously.......I have a complete powder coating setup and can do pretty much anything except for the main frame's..... HOWEVER on the down side, the only time I have to do powdercoating is in the winter (December-march) so you dayton guys keep that in mind, I'll post up next winter about when and what colors I'm doing. AND I hate sandblasting and refuse to do it, so unless you have just a few small parts, your gonna have to take it somewhere and get it blasted (theres a place in drexel that does it cheap). You have the parts prepped and ready to PC and I'll do it cheap when I'm doing a batch of my own stuff. To me its a hobby, not a business. some of my work, mostly atv parts.
