It's actually really good at speed. The entire torso area gets flushed with air since there are vents in the front and back. I usually leave the back open, then open/close the front vents as needed during my rides, since this can be done with the jacket on. The arms could use a better design, especially if you tighten the arm straps down. That said, I never had a problem wearing it in any Ohio weather. With the vents closed up, the vest in, and a layer underneath, it's pretty warm as well. It's a very versatile jacket, not amazing at any temp, decent at a wide range.
